The great thing about this GL scene is that it was one of the first taped after the writers strike. Douglas Marland was phoning in dialogue as they were shooting, it was totally on the fly. There will never be another like him. Daytime TV died with him.

Douglas Marland created great roles for both JWS and Lisa Brown on ATWT. I think he hated what GL did to their characters after he left.

What a fantastic scene. I remember when Nola was a bad character. So glad when they changed her and gave her such a romantic storyline with Quinton. Lisa Brown is a fantastic actress and John Wesley Shipp was so good looking. Any more videos like this would be appreciated.
