I disagree. Yes it went to another level but as someone else has already mentioned, when adrenaline kicks in, anything can happen. When we are young we all have learned that the last thing you do is corner and animal or it may attack. People are not that much different. When cornered and that switch goes on to defend and attack for some people it is not easily turned off. They wrongly assumed they were going to intimidate this person and lost on that assumption.

Being a law student, I understand what the law states, however the reason that men don't behave this way is because they know that there are people out there who will carry the fight to an entirely new level. A fight is chaotic by its very nature and this is the price that you pay. These two women acted without fear of the consequences. Clearly the people who worked with him and the customers thought he went too far or they wouldn't have been screaming for him to stop. Ron, I just had a idea. Go to the front room of your home and have your wife and a friend chase you towards your front "Locked" door. The guy has been out of jail for months, got a job at a place that many would feel was below them. Has been doing what he can to go back into society. Then he was verbally and then physically assaulted first. No one came to help him defend himself against 2 people. I think most see that jail self preservation steps were forced to the top.

How do know he wasn't cornered? Have you been in the place? Even if he wasn't cornered, why should he have to leave? If someone attacked me, especially two people, I would do everything I could to incapacitate them. A workplace is probably where we spend most of our time outside our own home. Would you suggest it's the duty of a person to run from an assailant in their own home instead of administering a beat down?

I disagree with this analysis. It’s trying to shift the blame away from the women who are at fault on to the guy who was attacked. There is no such thing as excessive force when it’s self defense. The guy wasn’t a cop making an arrest and beating them while they were handcuffed. This rationalization defense of the two women that somehow in the end the guy was more wrong is a form of White Knighting for their bad behavior which is the whole reason women are out of control to begin with.

I disagree. Yes it went to another level but as someone else has already mentioned, when adrenaline kicks in, anything can happen. When we are young we all have learned that the last thing you do is corner and animal or it may attack. People are not that much different. When cornered and that switch goes on to defend and attack for some people it is not easily turned off. They wrongly assumed they were going to intimidate this person and lost on that assumption.

I agree the instigators are more to blame, but still believe he should have shown some level of restraint. Near the end of the video, it appears he is standing over them trying to make the point they should not have crossed him, almost taunting them in a way. There were no winners here.

If the police were late getting there, I would organize resistance and pin whoever down until they did. One thing is for sure, I would have handled the situation quite differently... but then again, I have training and my perspective on how to handle a situation like this is much different from this kids.
