The actual of number of dead notwithstanding, the premise here is straightforward; US foreign policy is largely an oil policy. To quote the subtext of this video "unless we change direction, we stand to be drawn into one oil war after another ". I fully believe that and believe the historical facts support it.

That goes for most of us robi. The Iraq War casued me to rethink many of the paradigms I held about the US and it's foreign policies. I am trying to read and observe as much as I can. My thinking on the subject has been transforming since March 2003.
