I drew my first portrait with only a #2 pencil and a blending stick. it's simple, cheap and effective.

Aaron brothers, Michaels art supply. It's just a rolled dry stick of paper. I've even used a Q-tip. And don't forget the clay eraser.

srry buddy but it needs sum wrk try sketching first because most of ur lines are way too dark and since her hair was really light shouldnt have given it so much detail.

i'm pretty sure you usually draw comic book art. that's what your version looks like. but i'd suggest taking more time with the hair.

One thing I'd like to see is if you can do some shading! I saw shading in your reference picture! :) Pure black and white is wonderful, but shading takes it up a step in my book.

You did wonderful on the hair, though! It looks like it really is being flown into her face.
