Despite being an album done by three of the five members of Duran Duran, I always thought that this album is pretty close to the band's sound.

As Andy's fan, I miss him in the band, but if he has to be out, I will live with that, but, at least , I ask for this kind of sound. But it seems that I am asking for too much....

I also enjoyed the time when Andy was on the band.

About your last reference... You didn't like the way "All You Need Is Now" sounds?

@Reborninoktober I prefer records like this one. I am Andy's fan and it is very hard for me not to see him, but as fan of their music (the most important thing), I would wish to listen, at least, the sound that made me fan in 1983. I am not asking for a face if that face does not want or can't be in the band. I am only asking for a sound.

"All You Need Is Now" sounds similar to the way they sounded between 1982-1983. But it's not quite the same... something is missing. Maybe it's Andy's edge, maybe it's something else. But i understand what you mean.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Legend, Duran Duran, AND Arcadia!!! I prefer the European version of Legend. I was against the Jerry Goldsmith score being replaced by TG but got excited when I heard the story about El Diablo being used in the American version of the film because it's one of my favorites on So Red The Rose. Lady Ice would definitely have been a good fit too. Like some others here, I was disappointed when no Arcadia songs were used in the film. Excellent video of what might have been...

So funny, because I used to think of this song in relation to that film during the part where Lily is dancing with the dress and the Lord of Darkness is trying to seduce her. Love it! Gorgeous song, and I always LOVED Arcadia! <3

Great video I heard the same thing about this song and lady ice being used in Legend..I remember it in the news at the time and was disappointed when I saw the film.

Yes, the film is not very good. I didn't even know Tom Cruise had done it.

@MissNovemberTuesday I think the whole thing was probably a misunderstanding at the time, and that was what was printed in the press. I recently saw an interview with Nick Rhodes where he said Ridley Scott was supposed to direct the Election Day video, but had to leave to recut the U.S. version of Legend, so he recommended one of his colleagues to direct.
