  • That was pretty cool,i play much like that when i practice,i'm just not able to get the ghost notes down yet.

  • Yep- another good video- I am filling up my bookmarks

  • I totally enjoyed watching that video. i also like your genesis drum covers and your great stroke-rolls.

  • Thank you very much!

  • This was a treat to watch. It never got boring, and I love the rolls.

  • Hey, that's quite a compliment! Thank you!

  • wow man... you're beat is sick man. I gotta get to work on those. but it's rough stuff. it's kind of odd, and I'm having trouble with it haha

    keep it up

  • awesome, are you using Q sticks, which have lots of little sticks in them?

  • Thank you!

They are Flix Sticks. Yes, they are bundles of nylon strands.

  • Absolutely great drumming.

Do you play in a band?

I'm just learning the half time shuffle at my music school.

That's quite hard to play :-)

  • Thank you very much!

Yes, I play in a rock / blues band, which is a little more laid back than The Police and Genesis covers that you mostly see here on YouTube!

Half time shuffles are just beautiful, and once you get them to flow, they become great fun to mess around with.

Yes, they are hard to start with, but one day, they just sort of 'happen'. Keep going!

  • I like this a lot. The half-time shuffle makes an excellent basis for solos.

  • Loved it every second. A lot of different grooves that you blended very well. Great Vid!

  • Hey, that's very kind of you!

  • dude, raise your snare, your hands and your playing will suffer for playing snare with a such angle :/

  • I've played like this for over thirty years. I have tried raising my snare several times, but it never seems to suit me. So, I leave it where it is!

  • Lots and lots of technique...

You are one of the best drummers I've seen here on YouTube xD

  • fucking hell, thank you!

  • i liked it. you have an interesting style. 5 stars

  • Very entertaining.

  • nice i like your drum solo, in my mind your strength is speed, do you agree?

  • I really don't know!
