this type of bagpipe is basically a penny whistle with a reed and drones... anyone who is good at the penny whistle can fall right into this instrument.. the major difference is that you blow with a bag rather than your mouth

@apologeticsman Not to be an arse or anything, but that's right bollocks. It's not the same fingering, the techniques are quite different and the pipes are a very difficult instrument to even get to sound properly, unlike the whistle. And then we haven't even mentioned the regulators yet...
