@TheAeroE This is developmental. Some of these things never appeared, because they wanted the game to be less modern, and more medieval in it's combat system. However (and you probably don't care about this) the game does feature a handgun....

wow this is fantastic we play it frequently at christmas with my brothers they are absolutely brilliant at it. I was lucky enough to get it perfectly free for my sony ps3 from; one blow. com they have literally thousands I couldnt beleive that they are all totally free oh also 2:03 to 2:53 was rad

ok main gow similarity i guess might be the puzzle sloving gameplay,but damn this i going tobe awsome,kratos doesnt have guns,cant pick up cars ,and ride the embodiment of ruin(bad ass horse)this game is goin to be AWSOME...btw im atually a huge gow fan (joe mad is awsome)...

I hate everyone crying about this game becuase it's like god of war...umm it's completely different mythology for one, and it looks actually fun to play.

you can't say that its not like God Of War just because the mythology is different. what people probably mean is the game style - third person fighter.

And btw, the game is slow paced, repetitive and not nearly as fun and intriguing as its counterparts, such as GoW or Dante's inferno.

@Aledahal SOUL REAVER <- this is the game you should compare darksiders to:

a) both fighting and puzzels

b) using objects to figth (spears in soul reaver)

c) music at the begining of this video was exacly what you would expect form SR

d) Character using one main weapon that can be enchanted

e) Elder God = The Charred Council

f)  Spectre realm = Shadow realm

and still those games are way diffrent so don't even compare it to GoW
