  • I was raised in Sarawak. I am a mix kid. Never had any problems in terms of race.

No one would come up to you and ask "What is your race?".

Since I moved to KL to work, I found out that the people here like to classify and judge a person by their race. It's sad but true.

  • Back in Sabah/Sarawak, everyone was from Here. No one really questioned which kind of people you "belonged" to. Everyone gets along and does things together.

  • wow! i can so identify with this! the funny thing is, back in sarawak it's seldom an issue, but since i moved to kl to study, i catch myself having to stress to people that i'm not chinese, which is sad because i identify myself as just a malaysian. let me just say, thank you for the video. thank you for voicing out for us. we mixed-raced malaysians need to be heard as well. :)

this video is shot in taylor's isn't it? recognized the facilities :P

  • @sillytab Hi. thanks. glad you like it. not many people see it as a problem, got some criticism as well... anyhow, it's a video to create critical discussion, that's all.

only one interview was taken there. Are you a Taylorian?

  • @buttercantfly it's a good place to start. btw, who's the organization behind this? did not catch the logo in the end (was a lil bit too fast). and yeah, i'm a taylorian. :)
