you guys have the story wrong. basically lauren was already married to scott, and sheila worked with him at the hospital. sheila drugged scott into sleeping with her. both women got pregnant by scott around the same time, but sheila told scott she was pregnant before lauren did. when lauren found out, she didnt tell scott she was carrying his baby & passed it off as pauls. sheila miscarried 8 mos into her pregnancy, bought a baby off the black market & switched it with laurens when it was born.

The Sheila/Lauren rivalry was arguably more prevalent on Y&R, as in Sheila's later years on B&B the two were seldom in the same scene. I was hoping in 2005 the Y&R writers would expand Sheila's storyline to include more characters, but unfortunately they didn't. I preferred the Sheila/Stephanie rivalry anyways, but who knows what will happen. I certainly hope that last year's horrid storyline isn't the end of Ms. Carter, that's for sure.
