@gastlic well, she said jee tourt muy which literally mean one great grandmother. so they were second cousins since they had the same great grandmother.....not that it really matters with our culture people still married their cousins even til these days clarification only ;-)

I think a lot of Khmers back then married their relatives. My grandparents are cousins and my grandma wanted me to marry my cousin. Haha crazy stuff.
