we had carmeliye nuns when I went to our lady of Mt Carmel in the Bronx in the late 40s early 50s they were nastty hag BITCHES, ROTTEN & EVIL ATTITUDES! they were hated & feared not respected. I was 12 I refused to go back to that hell hole, I then went to PS45!
What's with the rockish music in some of these Religious vocation youtubes? Do they think that will attract young people to their orders???? If you want good vocations, then give them what they want and what they need, Gregorian Chant.
Beautiful. Short but sweet. Carmelites have a special place in my heart. Few people truly understand that these, with other religious, are the people who hold the world together.
