One of the things that made Fleetwood Mac great was how democratic and unselfish the band could be musically. No one is trying to upstage anyone. Lindsey's guitar is restrained and perfectly supports Stevie's vocals. Everyone lets Stevie carry the song, as she should. The arrangement is a model of understatement and cooperation. I'm not saying this carried over to their personal lives... :-)
I don't know where else I can type this so I'll just type it here. I feel I need to share this with at least someone and I'm not sure why. Last night I had a dream I was outside of my old house and it had been burned down, and I was shocked. There were firemen around but whenever I asked one of them what the hell happened he would point me towards another man who didn't have the answer. It was only then I began to realize there were more than just firemen surrounding me, there were thugs
@andukaru I was really angry in the dream and saw a mexican woman walking towards me and for some reason in the dream I exclaimed "you stupid fucking nigger" even though I'm not racist/prejudice and when I opened my eyes after saying this I was surrounded by angry black people. They wanted to kill me because I had said a single word. Nigger. They felt totally justified in their actions as they threw full cans of coke at my face and crucified my like christ on the cross.
@andukaru After this experience I found myself in a familiar dreamscape, I had a victim strapped down in a bed like in a mental hospital and I was repeatedly punching this man in the face. It was the most horrible experience I've ever had mentally, seeing the sadness in this man's face as he was beat black and blue and to a bloody pulp by my own hands. I woke up crying and threw up. I'm no expert in analyzing dreams or anything but violence just scares the shit out of me and I don't understand

(These are simply musicians I think maybe you'll like... I listen to everything from Blues to "Punk Caberet" :) )

First, being a teenager literally does change the way your ears register sound in some ways, look up Mosquito Alarms if you don't believe me.

The song itself is basically a country song. Like the ones she learned at her Grandpa's knee. He's the one who taught her how to sing.
Stevie is just a beautiful bell here. She nails it, the whole band nails it.

First, being a teenager literally does change the way your ears register sound in some ways, look up Mosquito Alarms if you don't believe me.
Second, Challychen was not really talking about a physical difference as much as the stereotype, which is right far too often, that all teenagers listen to either shamelessly manufactured pop drivel or angsty emo/punk music. More adults than teens like Fleetwood Mac and more teens than adults like Lady Gaga.

@FeederForLife my point is so many teenagers say "im 14 and i like___________" when no one cares. Of course there will always be people of all ages who like all types of music. For example old people might like new "music" (shit) and young people might like 70s or 80s music, it doesnt matter its just personal preference.

Fleetwood Mac's 1st and only #1 hit.
Stevie wrote it in Sly Stone's studio at Record Plant after the other FM members ran her off from the Rumours session. That's where the "players only love you" line comes from.
The song itself is basically a country song. Like the ones she learned at her Grandpa's knee. He's the one who taught her how to sing.
Stevie is just a beautiful bell here. She nails it, the whole band nails it.
