  • Can you possibly teach me how you made that antenna? Just got a G6 but I can't get any SW :(

  • @UnpoeticCircle Hello, it's actually facilitate, buy 10 meters of cable to timbre, it rolled up on a stick pudes to the shape of a spiral, Greetings

  • Hi I own the G6 too and found that best results were achieved with the standard telescopic antenna. Using the sangean travel antenna for example leads to overload (at least in my location) and destroy S/N radio. The radio is veeeery sensitive.

  • @sebastienbillardseo yeah I gotta agree with you there sometimes I actually have to lower the antenna a few sections to get a clearer signal from stations that are pretty far away.

im still going to make an antenna so I dont have to physically be close to the window in the wintertime. but what this radio can do without one is impressive for its size/pricetag.

  • Nice antenna !

  • very nice reception.

  • hello, you know do not understand much of what just cannot, the reception is better at night, com a good sign, I will thank you if I can indicate the agecuada antenna for this radio. What Esla overload the front or forward broadcast band. ?

    greetings.

  • Hi there.

The noises that you hear at time 2:54 3:20 4:01 and 4:19 are classic examples of front end overload or broadcast band breakthrough.

You just cant use long antennas with portable SW radios.

Also , coiling your antenna wire does nothing to improve reception.

For more information please feel free to email me or Google SWDXER.
