we all agree it ties the movie together but i thought i read somewhere it based off of a true story....or course the scenes of her journey thru before she truly goes to her ideal of heaven. It makes you want to believe in something that other people dare to say exist...Of course for me I would like who affected my life ..including animals waiting for me ....I am watching a sibling entering that door way and I wish I could show them the movie.. just to leave a thought ...MAYBE

I give my hearts to all those who have lost family members also or have been treated like the girl in this video. I do miss my granny but i know it will get better and shes watching over me because i feel her presence. <3

@pfloyd1987 actually it says she dies in the trailer, and at the beginning of the book...its not about if she will live or die..she dies in the beginning of it...its what happens afterwords..that is the actually point to it.

It's so sad that most sexual abuse goes unreported. And that people have the nerve to take something like a young girl's innocence away from her...just sickening. Recently a girl who lived about an hour away from me was raped, killed and then her body burned to keep the police from finding out who the killer was. They found him anyway, which is awesome. But poor girl. She made one bad decision of going to a party and then BAM she loses her life to a sick creep.
In my neighborhood there are many men. I'm scared that they will do something bad to me like the murder in this movie.

Thanks for the video,is so bad that this thinks happens in reallity.There are thinks that happend to me at the age of 6 and it went on for some years.I tried to forget and forgive but there will always be a scar that can never be removed.Thanks again for the video

This song will make you think so much about your past. Everybody has been through pain, no matter what. I'm 16 and I have been through so much hell, mentally, emotionally, and sexually :( but there are kids out there way younger than me that have it way worse =[ This song just makes me smile. My boyfriend now, saved my life. And as weird as this may sound, when I hear this song, I just picture him singing it to me just for the simple fact that he took all of my pain away.

I watched the movie on a plane and by the time this song was playing I had tears rolling down my face. Didn't expect it to have such an effect on me, bet here I was this guy wiping tears from his face and trying to man up before anyone noticed. I didn't care in the end; it was very moving.

I havn't got this emotional about a song in so long. I love this movie, and the book it was based on. It's such a sad yet beautiful story, and this song fits perfectly. I know many girls who have been sexually and violently abused, and it breaks my heart.

loved the movie n novel as well but i dont knw y they didnt showed they strong bond of father-daughter in movie as was in the novel...in novel she had strongest connection with her dad n half ov the nove infact more than half ov the novel was abt father m daughter ....but in movie it was not.....still movie is a must watch

It's so sad that most sexual abuse goes unreported. And that people have the nerve to take something like a young girl's innocence away from her...just sickening. Recently a girl who lived about an hour away from me was raped, killed and then her body burned to keep the police from finding out who the killer was. They found him anyway, which is awesome. But poor girl. She made one bad decision of going to a party and then BAM she loses her life to a sick creep.
