I didn't like this film at first viewing - found it too dark. Now I genuinely admire it, because it's honest. Not to mention that classic '94 DJ Premier-laced soundtrack mixed with Barry White (which actually works well).

Ultimately, a sad movie though....made even more apparent when u consider that Ted Levine can't communicate with his own bro throughout the movie, but ends up slicing Tupac's neck open after he finds out pac murdered his brother. Man that's fucked up.
