  • Now make a boob simulator!

  • fajne ale jeszcze troche brakuje bo jak by kazdy wlos sie ruszał z osobna

  • is this simulation free? is it possible to try it on a gtx570? is it downloadable?

  • looks like the hairs in shampoo commercials

  • @TheAnimelover40 Yeah , like clean hair , but IRL it's clean only 1-2 hours after shower ... Then it coveres in grease and dandruff ... I imagine this technology in TES VI , you see the blacksmith , his skin is dirty , covered with soot , clothes is dirty too ... But hair is clean like in shampoo commercial !

    : D

  • I want to touch it!

  • space effect not realistic

  • Nvidia Girlfriend100 ?

  • Finally, there will be a time when the lead character won't be sporting the same old buzz cut.

  • q programa es?

  • A game where character's hair is simulated like this/close to this:

    Alice: Madness Returns

  • They should use this in Sims 4.

  • @ju1be2le3u4--Yeah!

  • love u shampoo darling

  • very nice :D

  • Someone should apply this to tree and or grass rendering. It would look friggin AMAZING.

  • Fantastic hair!

  • just amazing ; d

  • FFFFFFAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @vmgn021 no

  • 3d porn

  • @superbrainification

It's just hair... your comment makes no sence

  • @DownHillSk8rTV And you have no immagination ;)

  • @superbrainification

And you have no girlfriend OOHH, nah jk

  • they should show a boob tech demo

  • @Palillos1337 yeah definitely

  • Well I reckon if a game was ever launched with real life quality graphics we would need graphics cards with 1tb of ram :)

  • @Vince62965 Yeah, and 1TB of RAM by that time would be $50.

    16GB would be about $0.68 ^_^

  • they should use this hair in the new tomb raider game.

  • this needs to be applied in games [console] SOON!!!!!!!!

  • 1 GTX 580 is required just for the hair...integrated graphics for the rest of the game.....lol.

  • @foam27 Totally worth it.

  • The hair is not heavy enough. It moves way too slow. It's like it's under water.

  • I like the clothes demo.

  • what 3d modeling software is this? or is this a 3d modeling software... if this is, what is its name?

Dont mean to sound stupid but i would really like to know

  • why the fuck i didn't see this shit in some game?

  • @WeisserAllan Because you would need an expensive computer, and since developers have to sell to a lot of people, you need to aim lower with your software. And there's the fact that this demo is only doing the hair thing, it's not calculating pathfinding, etc, etc, etc....

  • Shit I even have problems because most people have 1Gb of video ram or less. So the hair thing? wait 5 more years. (hint: It's not like developers wouldn't like to show you this)

  • That is awesome but it ended stupid.

  • omg... this is awesome!

  • nVidia again proving his leadership! thanks a lot!

  • one step closer to not needing real girls

  • Look at this youtube.com/watch?v=9K8masjDBrI&NR=1

It was 6 years ago. But I never saw it an game.

  • its still too slow

  • damn she's hot.

  • @Gecko133

    Got wood

  • Comment removed

  • Demo? :o

  • its pretty exciting, because im big on real looking hair as a gamer i cant wait to see where it goes from here so amazing.

  • Nice, but can she cook?

  • @cracktober no its a model :D

  • In real life it looks much better.

  • It looks realy good but the movement reminds me of aluminum foil.

  • I will do myself a handjob!!! oh yeaHHHHH!!!! yes baby yesssss!!!!!!!!!! this vid is hot

I will do myself a handjob I will do myself a handjobI will do myself a handjob...

  • wow, that looks cool....

  • PhysX- Realtime Matrix (everything is so slow)

  • yeah what the hell... are there games that have characters in it with this type of hair. maybe 3 years from now so why the helll??

  • God, this is amazing!

  • sex hair lol.

  • This technology is amazing!!!!!!!

  • Can't wait to see games with this technology. We would have it today if it wasn't for the consoles.

  • @HDaviator

Yeah, cos consoles weren't around before PC gaming became popular............

  • @MrBedo No they weren't but its not that. It's because consoles stop innovation and make game developers create games and technology for outdated hardware.

  • @HDaviator

If we didn't have consoles they wouldn't make enough money on these super expensive games to keep cranking them out.

  • @usul5739

If there weren't consoles, gaming computers would be much cheaper than they are now. Hell, you realize companies like Microsoft and Sony actually loose money the first few years? They only make money with their games and after a few years they start making money from the consoles. A PS3 did not cost $600 to manufacture. The only reason Microsoft got into the console market is because real computers have allot more competition and are easy to build. Anyone can do it.

  • @HDaviator we'd have everything if it werent for shitstation/xshit

  • PC playera, you won't see this for some time in games...Problem,Consoles?

  • I can already feel the hairs in my mouth, and see the hairs in my 3d soup.

  • Its awesome but a little over the top, it looks like the head is underwater

  • @Cusack187 That's because it's in slow motion mode.

  • wow , amazing !! i think ps4 will be like this !! .. i hope it is !!! pc is the best but developers don't make best games :( .. if it have more then 5 good games i'll buy a pc !! .. it's all about games ..

  • @DarkCloud4891

There's a shitload of good PC games. Only for Team Fortress 2 it's worth buying one. Now stop being such an ignorant console gamer.

  • Valve needs to implement this in future Source engine games, ie: Half-Life 3.

  • @AangnimusPrime did you by any chance read that one thread about engine improvements? :D

  • Comment removed

  • @Gate21IsClosed

Would that be SPUF (steam powered user forums)? :p

  • @AangnimusPrime thats what i meant, yeah :D

  • stunning!!!

  • That's cool and all but this sort of tech would be better for movies for now. I'm sure we might see this in games maybe 5-7 years down the road.

  • who gives a shit about hair physics. the lighting on the hair is really realistic.

  • @zackhanscom because each hair is acting on its own, and thats like 10,000 hairs or some shit. so its pretty impressive and would be great to see in a game some time. and your right, the lighting on the hair does look really life like.

  • i wish the next sims got this tech

  • @angelite143 now that id like to see.

  • Yet another incredible tech demo! I can't wait to never actually see it in a game!

  • ok , now make it hair in the ''real world'' , hair mover quiker and has more of a gravity feel to it

  • so the cg is gonna be like this or actual game play?

  • 30 fps on a single 480 is lame.

  • This is amazing, game industry evolves so fast every day.

  • I WANNA SPIT ON MY PS3

  • @sok213 Me too! I also wanna spit on your PS3! jk...

  • @sok213 YOU SHOULD

  • lemme gess.. shes drowned, right?

  • spermi

  • I love my 480's

I hope they take advantage of some of this fermi a amazingness in a game.

  • link to the demo please?

  • very nice but hair in RL doesnt all flow at the same time its more of a few strand thing

  • what happens if u cum in her hair :0

  • @jetsamjetsam ...then you wont see this video any more because it's filtered by youtube

  • @SpecialVideosHD hahahahaahhaha. WORD

  • @jetsamjetsam lmfao

  • @jetsamjetsam loooooooooool ... the exact thing i thought as i clicked on the thumbnail .. ... man im fucking horny all the time .. to bad getting a gf is so hard these days

  • @chabi3000 lol.

  • @chabi3000 probably for exactly that reason

  • @chabi3000 the key is to never give up :)

  • @chabi3000 That almost turned into a spam ad for a porn social network, lol.

  • @jetsamjetsam more than likely, virtual world is the only place you'll be able to spunk in anybody's hair.

  • At some point it will be awesome when ingame characters have hair like this...

On the other hand - it will most likely take 'a bit' longer to make, and seriously - doesnt it already take long enough to make games?

  • 26fps for something thats only rendering the physX LOL. good luck getting a game to work. i wont be surprised if nvidia do thier typical marketing shit and tell everyone to buy quad SLI. i bet ATI will come up with something like this and you will get double the fps to nvidia.

  • @nawaz2kx You're pretty dumb ain't you..

  • @Myztik7 lol sounds like your a nvidia fan loser.

  • @nawaz2kx I'll take that as a yes.

  • @Myztik7 you must be proud of handing all your money over to a company who only care about profits which is why you fail

  • @nawaz2kx Don't worry honey, I can afford paying for my hardware without worrying about what they do with my money. And I assume you're talking about AMD then since I'm currently on a 5000 series card.

  • @nawaz2kx A business exists to make profits. Otherwise, it's not a very good business.

  • you see this is nvidias deep rooted problem, every new cool and acutally useful technology requires expensive, poorley avalible nvidia products, this should be software only, i mean how many gamers do you know can afford some of the tech required for this card? not alot from my last estimate, this should require only a cpu with about 3ghz, not a $400 graphics card, not only would nvidia make alot of money from companies actually using this stuff but we would actually see this coming into games.

  • I bet I'm going to see this first in Final Fantasy lol.

  • @frenchfriesidiot That's what I thought when I first saw this.

  • A 5890 could render two chicks with this hair banging each other.

  • @bkisme try running the 5000 series with GTV4 or Fallout 3. Good luck

  • Hope they fix the speed rate of which "realistic" hair and clothing moves. Currently it seems like they are in 0.5 G or something.

  • I cant begin to comprehend the amount of process and calculations done to make the hair wobble a bit

  • this hair is not real, because no girl is as smooth as

    XDXDXDXDXDXD

  • how about a Photo realisitic Girl Friend?

  • lol make it larger

    omg make it larger !

  • technically speaking, this is awesome, but the hair acts asif its under water, too much movement and too slow.

  • i want this demo

  • maybe wwe will use this, and not have only like what

10 hairs on triple H? (in the game)

and theyre all like 5cm thick...

  • lol my 5970 beat the gtx 480 in this bench. my 5970 got 25.00-28.00fps(yes i know it has 2 GPUs). so much for the "FERMI" lol : )

  • @nightmare667711

lol,the 5970 is a $700+ dual gpu card , the the 480 gtx is a $500 card ,you do know your totally fucked the second nvidia releases a dual gpu card dont you?

its been the same story over and over :

    1.)nvidia 7950 gx2 win, ati no show=fail

    2.)nvidia 9800 gx2 win ati 3870x2 loose

3.)nvidia 295 gtx win again ati 4870x2 loose

and soon this will happen again, sorry

    4.)nvidia 490gtx total domination ati 5970 massive failure !!!

  • @utooberblooper Dude I will be so happy when that happens. I am actually waiting for it so then i would sell my 5970 and by the nvidia next generation but only if it is better of course. so you just wasted your time writing that 2 paragraph long comment lol

  • @utooberblooper reports show that the Nvidia GeForce 490GTX has the thermal output of a small sun. Just sayin...

  • @utooberblooper

haha a dual GPU fermi would make a nuclear explosion

but seriously it would be interesting if they released a new card with dual GPU to try to once again claim fastest card on the planet

  • Comment removed

  • I can belive someone made an entire Simulator JUST for hair.

  • @YarTeh1337 i bet a girl did it... :P

  • 5870>480

  • 5970>485

  • i wish radeon had 4gb ram too

  • hell i wish they would make avatars with that kind of graphics kinda like ffVII advent haha. Truly remarkable and impressive frames though, i gotta give it to them.

  • Haha!

    Not real time!

  • Couple more years and we won't need real women anymore.

Other than to cook and clean.

  • Can't wait till they do this for games :) This is truely one step below CG quality hair! i just hope they fix the wieghtlessness that physx seems to give entities.

  • 25 fps? For that? Nice work nVidia!

  • i hope u notice how much hair there is, it's a lot of triangles

  • you don´t know nothing about physic simulations, hu?

  • good ^^

  • 26 frames only?

  • @killerclown789 well each hair is being simlated.

  • have you ever worked on putting realistic hair on rd models? 26 frames is impressive, considering it use to take ~1-5 min to render one frame of a chunk of hair. not that long ago. and now they can do it streaming? that's verry impressive.

  • shit looks scary ...

  • nVIdia are more technical.. i their development. not only for a higher fps or power, but more about rendering technique and algorythm..

  • @taufan8687 Ati is more advanced (AMD is more advanced)

  • @wdowa94 Lol, not they're not. They've used the same architecture since the 2000 series, and nothing fully new isn't going to come from them until next year.

And don't even get me started on AMD processors.

  • @HarryzjEEE Hmm

    9600= Overclocked 8600

    9800= 8800 ultra

    Gtx 275= GTX 280, 285

    Gtx275= 2x GTX260

    So geforce is something new?

  • @wdowa94

9 series = 65nm version of the the 8 series

GTX275 is the same series as the GTX280/285

    Lets see ATI's stuff:

    2000 series

3000 = 2000 series with double the stuff on the chip

    4000 = 3000 with double the stuff

5000 = yep, you guessed it, 4000 series double the stuff.

  • @wdowa94 And then go read what the GF100 core actually is and how much of a new architecture it is.

  • @HarryzjEEE So read about HD5xxx

  • @wdowa94 I did, this is what I found on ATI's site "I believe it has been mentioned before, but the 4000 series serves as the basis for the 5000 series".

    Enough said.

  • @wdowa94 in correct, 9800ultra = 8800ultra

gtx 275 !=(DOES NOT EQUAL) gtx 280, or gtx 285

    gtx 275 != 2x 260gtx

    2x 260gtx = 1 gtx 295

    Get your facts right

  • @taufan8687 this is retarded on so many levels

  • Whoo...makes my head spin =>

  • Just like to point out to the Nvidia Fanboi's that the Fermi is the GPU that CAN"T do this - as it hasn't been released yet.

  • but it is doing it as they have the fermi card themselves. ati card cant do that as its a bespoke test for fermi, loads of different features that ati havent got. (not a fanboi btw just not a dick)

  • that sounds like a FANBOY

  • called knowledge and common sense. ill forgive your stupidity

  • And that sounds like IGNORANCE.

  • @tehhalders forget about these people i'm not a fanboy too I have ati and all I can say is that nvidia surpassed ati this time...the point is that neither nvidia or ati could aply this monstrous physics in a game for now...25fps just for the air lool but they are really impressive

  • ^_^ yeah atleast their not jjust thinking about more power and fps, they also thinking about new tech for ingame, i watching about 15 vidoes on youtube about fermi and all the stuff their doing

  • yeah if they just look to the fps then we will be stucked forever...and its amazing this technology.its like a movie where you control damn it

  • @NPSF3000

now you can finally shut the fuck up asshole, lol

  • Several characters with hair like this is only possible on the GF100. The GF100 have several times the geometry computing power then latest AMD GPU. NVIDIA really did well this time. I hope AMD catches up and we get games really using this new power. Geometry performance have only tripled since the GF FX 5800, but shader performance have increased 150 times. Read anandtech preview of the gf100.

  • And western companies will never use it because it's easier for their lazy devs to make bald space marines.

  • @belgurdo So true... the problem with all these new gpus is.. well.. developers *apart from crytek because graphics is their expertise* have to put in so much time to make use of the extra power these powerful graphics cards are bringing to the table

  • Not really actually. Only if they create their own engine. But that already takes a lot of time anyway. Crytek develops a high quality game engine for other developers to also use so that they don't have to do all that programming.

But even if you do make your own engine, DirectX simplifies the work in getting these functions working. Nvidia and ATI work with Microsoft to make sure the DirectX API can control all the features in the newest GPU's.

  • Umm... yea... first of all, making engines and selling the license to use them isnt that new, the unreal engine has been used so often now.

Also: All those engines are made with either directX or OpenGL. The "engine" about it is just what features are used and where/when they are used mostly. Collision checking is part of that too for example.

Almost no game has an own realistic physic engine. They are almost all independant.
