I completly agree that Cantrell is the heart of the band and that him and Layne were perfect together. Alice in Chains is my favorite band of all time and this new song shows that jerry wont let the music change completly like it was in the 90s. all i have to say is, KEEP IT UP AIC!

Writing lyrics and singing are 2 different things. No matter how hard you want AIC back, it CANNOT exist without Layne. He WAS the IMAGE and the VOICE that made the band. Sorry, but it's true...Cantrell is an awesome guitar player/song writer, but who would have cared? Layne gave the band its idenitity. The "new" band may be good, but don't call AIC.

I'm excited! I think William will add a lot to the band. Of course, Layne had an awesome voice, but the creative side of Alice is still there. I've seen the new lineup live and they were great. There has been an improvement since he started with the band back in 2005. William also adds a extra layer of guitars to the band. Can't wait for this on Tuesday....
