I'm for legalizing marijuana. The only problem I have about it is that dealers still want to monopolize the sales. Killings want stop with the legalization. Only possession of marijuana will be legal. Dealers just won't sell legalized marijuana. Big profit comes from illegal drugs. I guess legalized marijuana will go to the local smoke shops.

I agree.....but if you create a legal market for it...and can drive down the prices...thats the key...gotta make it cheaper than what it sells for illegally, make it better for ppl to buy from shops then from independent dealers, thats the only way I can see it making a real difference.

i remember going to my father's hometown in Michoacan, Mexico in 2000. The town was very small and surrounded by green jungle hills. past those hills were HUGE cannabis fields controlled by what apparently seems like the Mexican government. i remember i would wake up every night at about 3 am to the sounds of tanks cruising through the tiny streets. it was surreal.
