  • @seros2010 thanks for making sense...

  • lol at the refs cheering at some of the shots

  • The first one was not a buzzer-beater. The second was at the end of the first half. The third tied the game. The rest of the shots (with the exception of the putback of a missed free throw, that tied the game) were game-winners.

  • 5:21 is funny it looks like there humping each other

  • yep my brother! Bru Go Bru

  • 4 people dont like to looka t the old-style shorts

  • GO HERD!!!!

  • Awesome

  • Last play of the vid: Dennis Scott shots the three with one second left to upset #5 North Carolina 1989.

    Good video.

  • 5:10 ....bottom left corner of the bleachers? convinced that the coach is totally flying.

  • @wugufugu this video is for people that like basketball thats why they clicked the link when they saw the video...what lack of life person goes to an online video they don't like to talk shit? someone who is insecure and very unhappy with themselves..people like you are the reason the world is a fucked up stupid place

  • The first couple shots were fantastic, the rest were basically run of the mill shots you see in practically every fucking game.

  • I LOVE these Buzzer Beaters ! Cant get enough of that Stuff.

And all the Audiences completely freakin out !

    Great .

  • is it just me or does only one of my headphones work?

  • @ozzyt10 Yeah, this video was recorded in mono.

  • Lol..I love how enthusiastic all the coaches are

  • gus johnson should have called all of these

  • I liked these, but where was Keith Smart's " The Shot"?

  • so how many of these are game winners?

as in, coming from below to win

  • @whyallaguru exactlt, and where is the Laettner shot. You mean to tell me a comilation of the greatest buzzer beaters, and no Christian. Unbelievable.

  • @nuezos This video was done about two or three years before Laettner.

  • That Pitino one at 2:28 includes a very young Tim Brando.

  • dude!

  • what means a buzzer beater?

is it that you score just before the buzzer, so you beat the buzzer..

or is it that you make the game winning score just before the buzzer?

  • @maffe13 both

  • @maffe13 itll depend on who u ask. some say (like me) that is has to be a shot that wins the game right at the buzzer

but others think it can be a shot in the final second of each quarter/half or a shot in a pressure situation.

  • @maffe13 well technically when you score just before the buzzer its called a game winner a buzzer beater is the ball goes in and no time is left

  • @wugufugu needless to say your opinion in these matter means about as much as dirt in the ground........it doesn't mean anything so why don't you become a somebody in the sports world and then maybe you can voice your opinion if you know what you're talking, which you don't...and people can't be ground up into cat food..if you knew what cats ate you would know that...if you knew anything youd know that...but you're a hater and probably have never been laid so i don't blame you

  • Needless to say - anyone who leaves stupid comments on Youtube should be killed.

    Really.

You're such a complete waste of time.

As are the people who are related to you.

You all should be ground up into cat food.

  • That's Marshall University, Bruce Morris.

  • da frst one was awesome

  • I was a freshman at Syracuse U. when Pearl made that game-winning halfcourt shot against Boston College! I'd been sleeping & just after I woke up, I turned on my lil' B&W TV with the "wirehanger-antennae" & saw a news highlight of the shot! I thought I was still dreaming! Unbelieveable!

  • Who / where / when was the second shot? (the 92 foot one)

  • It looks like the court says "Marshall" but I'm not sure

  • Comment removed

  • @cardifanscom Bruce Morris, Marshall University @ the Cam Henderson Center versus Appalachian State. I was at the game behind the basket in which the ball went through the hoop, about 8 rows. He caught the ball off a blocked shot, turned and threw it down at the end of the first half. What a shot. It was made on Februrary 7, 1985.

  • @the4hagers I thought this was at the Veteran's Memorial Field House or at least thats where the court is now

  • @the4hagers I thought this was at the Veteran's Memorial Field House or at least thats where the court is now

  • @lyook23 Nope it was at the Henderson Center. I was there for this game. MU stopped playing at the VFMH around 1981 and moved into the 10,000 seat Henderson Center. I was at that end of the court and will not forget that shot. This was during the run of teams known as "HUCK'S HERD."

  • That is Marshall University''s Bruce Morris from 1985 hitting the 92 footer. His foot prints from where he was standing are painted on the court.

  • @GoHerd2001 crazy 'cuz Marshall University recently had another player who made a long-range shot to win a game in Markel Humphrey; he made a 75 footer at the buzzer in January 2009 to beat SMU 53-50

  • yeahh

    thats marshall college west virginia

  • Bruce Morris is the name. 5 days later, he would make another game winner against Davidson.

  • @wgpearcelb it does say marshall. in 1985, bruce morris beat vmi with that shot, 65-63. the next week against davidson, he would beat them by the same score with a shot from just inside today's 3 point line.

  • @wgpearcelb ...Marshall University February 7, 1985 Bruce Morris

  • @wgpearcelb it's Marshall University in Huntington WV

  • @wgpearcelb Marshall Universtiy, West VA

  • @wgpearcelb and it was in 84

  • @wgpearcelb That was Bruce Morris, Marshall University, February 8th 1985. (My hometown school)
