At 2:20, Halle's line about "Fred being smarter than you thought" is a mistake. Think about it. The scriptwriters fucked up. I mean, since Barney switched his test with Fred's, anyone who wasn't aware of this would assume that Fred is, simply, the smartest employee there. However, keep in mind that Fred is actually the dumbest. The writers forgot to keep up the whole bad-guys -not-knowing-about-Barney's-sw­itch-thing.

When he's cinemassacre reviewing films they are fairly interesting but too short and are just straight forward reviews, where as critic does something different surrounding his character in each review he does as well as reviewing the film. This movie reminds me about the simplicity of childhood. I loved watching the flintstones on cartoon network every day and every day until many a year later ignorent to how old the show really was. The show may not have not been awesome and neither the movie and yes if you skip the whole barney switching tests in the movie it makes much more sense. Still its fun to watch. If you loved it back then youll know what its about. I own it on DVD and i cherish it. Its nostalgic nether the less.

Like the movie, I found the cartoon to be decent as well. It was one of Hanna-Barbera's earlier projects, so at least they were trying to make a good show. In short, both the cartoon and the movie were okay in their own way and are still memorable to this day.

So, while NC does make some good points, I would like to point out that, if we honestly think about it, very few if any of the shows Hanna-Barbera came out with had a complicated ongoing plot, unless you want to count shows like Johnny Quest or Josie and the Pussycats, and even that's a stretch. So, I don't think it's fair to say that the series sucks for having no plot when few of their other works had much more plot than that.

It happened with Masters of the Universe, it happened with the Flintstones, it happened with Avatar.
