Very well said for as much as it is possible to cover in a short talk. God is love which is contradictory to hate. Translating any word in the bible to make that word come out as "hate" is questionable. Every religion on earth now seems to have "their" own translation of the bible. Those who hate and use that hatred in judgement; in proclaiming hatred; are more likely to die for eternity than someone who is homosexual and repents before death. Thanks for using your bible. Pt 6: For the billionth time: the biblical authors knew nothing about sexual orientation. They wrote in a time when Israel needed to grow, so heterosexual behavior was moralized. They writers assumed that all people were straight; that is why the write, "lay with man AS with woman" in Leviticus. They're condemning straight men, not gay men.

Closet-case VFX has laid one of his larger eggs (and infertile to boot) with this video.

Pt 5: 10 (cont'd): While physical sexual intimacy happens one way between two people of the same sex, both different, and two people of the opposite sex have sexual intimacy in a third way, the simplistic physical explanation of the "ordained appropriateness" of heterosexual behavior is nonsensical.

Pt 2: 3. His statements about the word "fool" ignores the fact that the Psalms uses it; he's saying that the Psalter a sinful book?

4. Fundies have a huge biblical and intellectual disconnect when they say that infirmities are the result of sin; check out Jesus' own words in Jn 9 when he declares that being born blind is not a result of sin. Such idiocy from VFX.

Pt 1: I'm forgoing my usual practice of pointing out VFX's intellectually dishonest approach to Scripture because there's so much sheer idiocy to address:

1. VFX's huge, stiff, throbbing ego is on display when he declares this the "go to" video on homosexuality.

I have never felt sorrier for him if he is actually gay. A life of constantly denying your true nature. What he is trying to avoid is the fact that being gay also means that you romantically LOVE someone of the same gender, not just have sex with them.

@dgeypscun Shawn is of course in total denial of his own feelings as they are subject to what God says he is "supposed" to feel so there is little to no way he could possibly understand the level of love and compassion you are referring to here. It is the kind of love and compassion that can sometimes express itself in beautiful sex but is not contingent upon the act of sex at all. VFX is completely clueless about that kind of LOVE!

"Sin" is only a religious thing. Every religion has different sins, although they often share many similar ones. If that's his opinion, so be it. I am perfectly fine with it. In fact, I think Venom has matured a lot by releasing this.
