Being an "action" film doesn't mean that it should not be held to a high standard. Just like being a drama or say being a comedy should not by itself dictate the quality of the film.

There are plenty of action movies out there that are great. Like I wrote before, dark knight and iron man definitely fit the bill.

If not even other flicks that fit the umbrella from the traditional (true lies,Conair,die hard) to sci-fi(blade runner, matrix) to drama(minority report) are miles ahead of this movie,
