I am a transgendered woman and agree with Calpurnia so much. I have taken the time and have found my female inside me and embrace it now. I realize that when I said yes to transitioning, all the male facades just melted away. Yes I am going for the GRS and I will get some other surgeries. I am realizing that the GRS will not make me a women, rather having accepting I am female is everything.

I think that a lot of gay-men are still very condescending about transgenderism unless we look like dragqueens at a stripper pole.
