The nosewheel on a Lake can be lifted up by hand as without the pilot, the plane is completely balanced on the main wheels. I simply lifted the nose and dropped it back down on firm sand packed with a handful or two of stones. The main wheels, I simply scooped the sand out in front of them and they rolled out.

Hi Pete. Looks beautiful! But how did you get the plane out again? Looks like the front wheel got caught in soft sand?
