**cough** Those were submitted to GameFAQs. Oh well. :P
I finished a VERY in depth Earthworm Jim 1 AND 2 (all versions but the handheld ones). Very intricate. The thing is, GameFAQs doesn't accept multi-game or multi-platform FAQs anymore. :| So I have no place to put them.
I also have full maps for Jurassic Park for the SNES. As well as in progress FAQs for Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, Serious Sam: Next Encounter, and Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown. Maybe I'll finish them someday.
Basically I feel that games that require you to play with others have virtually no shelf life. They're only good as long as your friends want to play. I play my games when I feel like it, not when others do.
Also, I feel like I'm wasting my time unless I feel that there's some sort of progression. If I don't eventually see some credits or a definite ending, I don't enjoy it.
I feel that games are an artform. A masterpiece that is to be appreciated with the final product that is officially released.
The amount of imagination and effort that the game makers put into the game is how I judge the game, and is the only way that I want to experience the game.
So yeah, I only play the original levels (except for one or two exceptions for Doom, when it's really good), and don't enhance my games. I play the games the way they were meant to be on the release. Almost anything that's done after the initial release holds no interest for me.
Hope that explains my beliefs in the world of video games. :P
Excellent reason. I basically like some mp games, but most of the time I don't. For example, most MP FPS games are very generic and gets really old. I hate how Halo nowadays is labeled as a MP game. I remembered back in 01 nobody called Halo: Ce a MP game since the SP overshadowed MP so badly. Now today, everyone is talking about MP instead of campaign. Hell, Bungie is slipping in dedication of their campaign mode too...Seriously, Fear 2 didn't need a MP, and Halo: Ce didn't need sequels.
i hope you manage to get some time for yourself soon man,
i've just finished watching your ps1 doom play through and it was great! i subbed a couple of days ago cos you've got some great vids and you seem like a real nice guy.
I know the feeling bro! I just covered 22 extra hours in 3 days at work, they kept calling me at 5am and going in to work, but I treated myself to something nice already :)
i found two of your guides on gameanyone and I was asking myself if you would add more of your epic guides there someday.

I feel that games should:
a) be able to keep your attention without the need of other people.
b) have a definite end.
c) should be about you versus what the people who made the that game's challenges and creativity.
d) be judged solely by how it is out of the box (so no add-ons, etc).
