  • Great video, good work.

All the 24 thirthankar were born on the very auspicious time. That position of stars came only 24 time in this yug. There r 2 Kal in each yug, utsarpirnikal and avsarpirnikal and. Each Kal has 6 ara. This is 5th ara of avsarpirnikal. Normally in 1st and 2nd ara of utsarpirnikal and 5th and 6th ara of avsarpirnikal no thirthankar will born as the position of starts are not that good to arise thirthankar.

  • Great

  • how i can download video from youtube?

  • @krushant163 keepvid dot com

  • True..it is fantastic

  • Jain principles are the basic principles of all humanity yet so many ppl are oblivious to this perfect religion

  • So that's how the blue man group started!

  • I'm curious why there is no 25th trithankra appeared? What's the story behind this?

  • nice one

    good work

    thanks

  • I am a Hindu, I a have great faith in Bhagwan Mahavir, and Jainism.

But I have one question? What happened to Mahavir's teachings or sutras?

  • @Sarper44 Mahavirs teachings are alive today and many jains try to follow them even today after 2500 years of his death. Sutras are availaible in different languages, and many are freely avalaible on inet, let me know if you need any further help, let me know

  • @Sarper44

they aren't gone they are still used, and shared.

  • Thanks for such a nice video its a great service to promote jainism.

  • Now the key is to realize this example, internalize it, and apply it to your life, your experience, are you cause over effect? Can you stay in a state of constant awareness, control, and compassion, no matter what life throws at you? Most of us can't! most of us react with anger, vengence, jealousy, distrust, vanity, ego driven desire that will cause all of the torments and mind chatter that can lead to insanity!!

  • even Buddha was once a jain saint then he left and started Buddhism and his time period was around 400 years after mahavir

  • Can translate for me or tell me what going on? I exploring eastern religons and Know nothing about Jainism.

  • Lord Parswanath, the 23rd Tirthankara of Jainisn, went under deep meditation beneath a tree in a dense forest.. There used to be a devil living on that tree.. He recollects that in one of his past lives, he was insulted by people because of Lord Parswanath and so he wanted to take revenge from him.. He tried to hurt him but the Lord couldnt be dissuaded from his deep meditation..on seeing all his efforts going waste, he tried to kill the lord by causing enormous storm..CONTINUED IN NEXT REPLY..

  • CONTINUED FRM PREVIOUS.. But the Lord was so deeply meditating dat he dint care 4his life.. on seein this the two angels, Dharnendra & Padmavati tried to save him by becoming a snake who wud lift him and covering him up..

In Jainism, we believe that your soul is different from your body and if anyone harms you, he's harming your body and not your soul.and ur ultimate aim in life should be absolution of your soul and to reach MOKSHA, the final destination of any soul, frm wher it never returns..

  • Cool, i wish there were subtitles though...:)

  • there are 28 buddhas in total up to the present one ...actually!!!

  • 24 actually

  • Not buddhas

  • this is great!!

  • jainism is the oldest religion in this world,

when jain's 24th tirthankara[LORD]liveing that after many time buddha comes,

so pls. do not compare any religion to other religion.

    jay jinendra.....

  • Religions can be compared; all that can be deduced from observing them is in their similarities, whether or not they have any real connections or not.

    Jai Jinendra!

  • More please :)

  • its one of the best animation of jain stories on tirthankaras which i have seen...thanx....excellent job man....
