  • I would like to ask a question. Could the metal piece hang out of the area where once was inserted and it causes a heart failure by stress or by anything else beyond my knowledge. can you please give me an explanation. Thanks a lot

  • Thank you very much. It was a video that put my mind at rest before going to the operation. Well done.

  • you are now part of the medical experimentation. That's okay! as long as you are a live today!

  • I know this procedure is still under evaluation, but could a patient still be physically active and weight lift with this clip?

  • Thanks for this video.

Im a heartpatient and had to undergo an open heart surgery last summer to remove a tissue under my heart valve. My doctors now say that i have a leakage of my mitralvalve due to the operation. They think i might need a 2nd operation, & it seems like all they have got here is open heart since they never speak of minimal invasive surgery. When i ask about it they say its not applicable in my case. My question is if this procedure can be used to stop any kind of valve leakage

  • I really want to know more about this procedure. My uncle has this mitral valve problem, and would like to have the catheter procedure.

Kindly advise how I may get more information on this, and where it can be done.

    Regards, and Happy New Year!

  • Thank you so much. my son is doing well. He had surgery 6 months ago and healthy as can be!

  • My son is having this procedure done soon. This was very informative. Thank You for sharing this.

  • We're very happy to have helped you out. Best wishes to you and your son.

Seeing an illustration of any operation or procedure may be frightening but on the other hand, knowing exactly what is going to happen is comforting and also allows you to understand your doctors better and ask questions.

  • Yes, thats correct. and Thank You.

  • @debabme I hope your son if okay, good luck God bless you.

  • This is EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you!

  • Glad to be of help. It can be frightening not knowing exactly what is going on during a surgery or other procedure, so we hope seeing it will provide some peace of mind.
