Can someone tell me the secret in getting so many views.

Um, no secrets. There are people who are much better at this than we are:

(1) Make something people watch.

(2) Market it continuously for a very long time (so it gets searched, shared, talked about, etc.)

(3) Build an audience. When lots of people watch your videos, they will watch more of your videos.

(4) Hope it gets lucky.

#2 includes everything from the name, description, your comments, emails, messages, etc. For example, type "YouTube Sketchies" into the search at the top. What's the second video listed? Boom Shaka Laka!!!

Or search for "pixar toy story nemo" - What's are the top two results?

#3 also includes collaborating with established names. Take a look at Renetto. He started out doing video replies and reviews. Then he moved on to interviewing famous YouTubers. Now he thinks of great ways to market himself (like the Mentos video with over 5 million views).

#4 includes getting featured or achieving some sort of snowball effect where you get a collaboration or hit a title and topic that is extremely popular at that precise moment.

We agree, actually. This humor is very light, subtle, and silly. Probably because it's a little too random and pointless. It's not very sharp, powerful, or impactful. There are many people that think this is the funniest thing ever, but they are not the majority of the YouTube audience (who are more interested in a "Meet the Parents" or "Austin Powers" type of humor). So, if we make it to the next round (which we probably won't), then we'll whip out that humor. Thanks!

It depends. I think nonsense can be funny, but it isn't funny to everyone. Ultimately, humor is a surprise. If you don't find nonsense funny, that means you were expecting it. You must be thinking about a lot of nonsense.

Who's making fun of cheese? These jokes start with cheese, and then they head in all sorts of directions. It is very chaotic. You may enjoy more structured humor, like Full House.
