  • Gold is busto. Other than the main event where he probably sold 50%+ of his action he was playing non-bracelet events at this year's WSOP because his bankroll was non-existant and he owes $80K to an AC casino that sued him for not paying his tab. It went like this:

    Staff: "Your bill, sir."

Gold: "Meh I'll pay it later you know I'm good for it. I'm Jamie Gold!"

    Still bluffin' baby!

  • worried about overlapping events.

as tho he'd go past day one in those events lol

  • jamie gold - still broke

  • ...and two years later he's still bluffing with no tournament cashes since the 06 WSOP. Eventually the donk will bluff through $8m.

  • LOL. If he were playing online he'd probably be running like 90/4/7 or some shit. LOL. Difficult to exploit, amirite?

  • she came 17th :) ps she's a bellend donk bitch.

  • Winning the largest poker tournament ever gave Gold the biggest pot ever and since then he currently holds the record for all time cash won. I don't think he deserved that title initially cause he got really lucky hands and did poorly on high stakes poker, but he definitely keeps doing better.

  • tiffany michelle she did pretty good this year finished in top 15 i think 12th or 13th

  • screw the hands if you know how to bluff, you own the game all the time. I would love to be able to work out an opponent like jamie gold

  • I've always admired Jaime's modest "I really don't care attitude". He is never full of himself (dispite winning the biggest poker tournament in history) and so far from anything remotely cocky, and I like that. He is always trying to get better at the game and admits to himself that he has a long way to go. Now wether or not that might be true it's a key attitude to have when studying to become a world class player.

  • ty, sir.

  • although alot of people dont like jamie i for one think you have to deal with the fact he outlasted a huge field. as much as luck had to do with it he did play hands where he won chips by making people call him. different people different styles oh well. but i agree with you. i remember reading a interview where he said hed be willing to just take the prize money and let the runner up keep the bracelet if nobody found out who he was becuase he has seen what fame does to a person

  • yes i agree

  • yes u are a dumbass

  • i wanna see how much she can tighten up.

  • How do u think people determine who is a top player... they look at the table, they were nice shades, or they put the points and money on the board to show it. A main event champion who can stand the test of time is one of great players of all time. A ME champion who doesnt is a fluke.

  • Chris Moneymaker does seem pretty noob. I like watching Jamie Gold on TV, I don't think that he's good at poker or anything, but he's still entertaining, I'd love to watch him get a bad beat though lol :P

  • jamie gold fucking sux dont talk good about him!!

  • The Stephen Colbert look alike.

  • @kiwimangum Please don't insult Stephen Colbert like that.....

  • In the beginning, Jamie is too shy to look at the girl that interviewd him. Quit a pussy, I think he's gay

  • you're dumb

  • it's cool he didn't just settle down like raymer, but really got into poker after winning the big one

  • greg raymer is playing poker all the time he is ranked 299th in the cardplayer rankings for 2007 player of the year....jamie gold deos not have a single point nor does moneymaker or joe hachem for 2007...the last 4 wsop main event champs rank (in my opinion) in this order 1. greg "fossilman raymer 2. joe hachem 3. jamie gold 4. chris moneymaker...

  • joe hachem is far superior to greg raymer, who hasn't done a lot since winning the wsop. Hachem won a WPT title, greg hasn't done much. On poker after dark raymer didnt play very well, whereas hachem lasted longer and played better

  • joe hachem in 2007 has a 100th place finish in event 52 at wsop $4840.00 and a 23rd in aussie million 48,000.00...raymer cashed 4 times this year in wsop2007 including the 50k H.O.R.S.E EVENT 14TH $103,008.00...and wsop event 20, 14 and 3 he finished 4th 6th and 131st...hachem did win the wpt classic on 12/19/2006 for 2.1+ mill..but raymer finished 25th in 2005 in the wsop main event $304,680.00 the year joe won it...add in raymer 2004 wsop main event

  • so to continue raymer seems to be just a little more consistant but both players have done well in the last 4 years though...the poker after dark thing means little it just a sit and go...2004 raymer had the better year 2005 even with joe winning the wsop main event raymer had a very good year finishing 25th in that amoung other good results 2006 joe did far better than raymer but this year raymer is doing better in 2007...so its close...joe is definalty not far superior

  • hahaha.... if you don't really play cards you shouldn't be weighing in like this cause it makes you look foolish. Greg is a top tier professional and while I don't know much about Hachem he doesn't seem to be on the same level. Tip 1 : don't be too results oriented.

  • Who do u think would win at a final table if put all these together; Jerry Yang, Jamie Gold, Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, and Steve Dannemann and Jennifer Tilly- all extremely overrated players

  • add in dan N. and we got a good game :P

  • Chris Moneymaker made the Main Event big though. He is extremely overrated but he says that he is, and everyone else does. :)

  • Raymer finished in top 5% the year after his ws win. I think it's safe to say he's a little better than the monkey. You, meanwhile are the stupider than the monkey lol.

  • @dkny9954 although we all know raymer is better. The fact that he finished better the year after his win doesnt prove anything. You cant go deep without luck.

  • dude greg raymer cashed the next year after he won the main event. he also averages 4 tourney cashes per year. he is a pretty good player.

  • i agree

  • Jamie's getting big.
