Great job Hank. You will never know how much YOU singing this song touched me. See, I am a rather new sub. to ur channel. One of the reason I sub'd was because you look just like my dad and sound just like him. He used to sing this song to me all the time. He passed away in Jan. 2000, and watching you kinda makes me feel a little better. Sorry if that is creepy or what ever. Even though I am 40, I miss him so badly and just seeing you makes me smile. Thanks Lisa. I'm very honored!!! My dad died in 1982 + my mom in 1987. I miss them both more than words can say. I'd swear that I love em now more than I did when they were alive, + I'd guess that this fact is the good news. It means that what Patrick Swayze said in "GHOST" is true... LOVE DOESN'T DIE... WE KEEP IT WITH US. As long as we remember them + hold them dear in our hearts, then they're not gone AT ALL. God's promised to keep them safe so that we can be with em again when we pass on.

Thanks!!! My voice used to go about 3 notes lower before 30 years of smoking killed it. Trying to sing this song gave me some good news tho. After a year of (mostly) no smoking, my voice is slowly improving. I quit smoking on 6-30-07, but STILL crave them at times. When that happens I smoke one or two and quit again. Hopefully, someday... I'll be able to quit 100%. All the heavy drugs were much easier to give up totally than the cigs are. They are just NASTY little coffin-nails!!!
