Expertly played! This piece is a derivative of an Irish hornpipe called The Plains of Boyle. Its a beautiful uplifting piece superbly well played here! Bravo Michael!
hey Benji, that was actually done a good while ago, im now studying music in college, you shoul dhave a look at my page, I play it again with some mates in my class!
erh...the starting style is played perfectly, but the middle and the next is abit too slow. The rubato isn't really suit to this lively and lovely pieces...
anyway, I still rate you 5 stars! because the other parts are done perfectly.
Just for anyone watching this, I set up a new account, I was xxxcozmoxxx and now im this one, and i have a newer recording of this song with strings that i did in college just click on m name and its in my videos!
Well done if you say you have been playing only a year,I know this piece, listen to the original and slow it down, too much sustain pedal, therfore try practice the piece with no sustain pedal a few times then play it again with the sustain pedal noting the phrasing, and this will give a more crisp performance.
Oh I love this song, I found it on some chillout cd a while back. Where did you get the sheet music?
As for constructive criticism, I can't see your right hand too well, but for the fast repeated notes, try fingering the notes "2 1 2" or "1 2 3" or something - it's quite hard to do especially if your piano isn't very "bouncy" but it makes it easier. Other than that, it's very good especially as you've been playing for only around 2 years now!
I really can't give any constructive criticism with this piece because I have never heard of it before. Your style with piano and hand and arm movements seem quite smooth and those notes are played consistently, The tune is lovely, repetative, reminds me more of background music for some game, like ico Good job though 5 stars.
totally agree wit the FF comment! :L playin this for my L.C. practical. just got it done well :) wish me luck!:L great job btw

hi, very talented. you look young. i could be wrong.

I liked it, played with a lot of feeling, but some of the rubato in the middle kinda slowed up the piece too much..
