Kempinski Hotels were started & owned by the Kempinski's, a Jewish family, in Berlin until the late 1930's. At that time the majority of the family were killed in Auschwitz by the Nazi's. The hotels, the Kempinski company and brand was then transferred to an aryan company. This fact has never been fully acknowledged by the current owners, who have gotten rich as a result of theft, murder and genocide. A few Kempinski's escaped Berlin to the UK - These survivors/family's are the rightful owners
