This game looks like fun. I like the idea of a game which is just MP and no storyline. Just pure ownage. Also, what makes this game unique is that its third person. I prefer third person, actually.

I bought this game and wasn't all that impressed. The graphics are definitely PS2 caliber. Furthermore, some of the maps are way too big and you just end up running around most of the time without finding an enemy to shoot.

You're right. The guns do sound pretty shitty but it's just a game. I will say this much; This version of Crossroads is bad ass. It took me a minute to catch on to the fact that it was Crossroads. I sorta got a little chub. Much like Socom II, I'll probably spend the majority of time on that stage.

That's the first thing I thought when I heard em'. COD4 uses all authentic sounds for the guns. These sound like they made them using a sound program or something.

actually, cod 4 doesnt use authentic sounds (ive fired most of the guns in it) in fact, in a more recent build of the game that the guys at PTOM played, they said that the sound effects are recorded from real guns in Socom Confrontation.
