i can understand using non human primates for testing new drugs and vaccines, in fact as a cancer survivor whos drugs were tested on monkeys i support testing on monkeys. but i DO NOT support testing on ANY other animal. i just dont see how they could come to any conclusive evidence while working on non primate animals. it just doesnt make any sense at all.

They have a testing facility in Kansas City where they pay people $1000-$2000 (depending on how long it'll take) to have experimental drugs tested on them. Some people come out messed up afterwards but they volunteered willingly.

They could perform tests on lifetime smokers after they've died (as long as they gave concent for it) to see the affects of smoking. Enough people die per hour from smoking. I just don't understand why animals are still being tested on. It doesn't make sense.

Whilst I find this video heartbreaking I know that if either of my kids had a life threatening illness and the life saving drugs had been tested on animals I wouldn't hesitate to give them to my sons.

@indfootlover In case you are interested cigarettes that people smoke were tedted on beagles they were ofrced to smoke them one by one until a certain perceantage of the dogs died they were then cut open and their organs were examined to see the damage the cigarettes had one their lungs and other organs.
