Jesus had a savings account and an accountant, Judas, who skimmed off the top. He also was not homeless but was a traveling teacher with no need for a home... big difference. Rome did not fear poor men and Jesus' disciples were not concerned about where to find money to buy enough bread but where to find enough bread for the 5000.

I love the attempts to make Jesus some lovable hippie. Jesus wanted ALL the Old Testament laws kept (Matthew 5:18-19) and it wasn't until gentle Jesus, meek and mild that we get the fire and brimstone and the eternal suffering of hell. Jesus may love porn stars, as the video claims, but he does think they deserve to suffer unimaginably for all of eternity. Don't you feel the same way about those you love?

When you cut out all the repulsive aspects of Christianity, you get Secular Humanism.

I absolutely don't think anyone "deserves" to suffer unimaginably. Here's the reason: who am I to create the criteria by which we deem someone worthy of eternal damnation? I'm also not so arrogant to assume that I understand the mind of God, if it were actually a mind that we could actually pick apart.

I also would argue that based upon my limited understanding of scripture, Jesus was a humanist, but it is possible that I'm reading a totally different Bible than you seem to be reading.
