  • this song is the bomb..

  • WOWIE sexy amazing

  • I dont know who Lisa keith is

  • oh these songs were part of my memories growing up my buddies father would play these songs while we played basketball . Keith Sweat Sos band Force Mds

    Janet Nowadays r & b aint shit

  • I love this song.

  • Herb Alpert-what talent! I'm a little bit prejudice and think that Lisa Keith is one of the best female vocalists out there (past or present)!

  • I love the song its very relaxing, laid back beautiful jazz/ r&b melody. Janet sounds really good singing background.

  • 3 people don't like making love in the rain......

  • 3 people made love in the desert...

  • classic ! i remember when this came out.and these kids today realy think this is music that they are listening today.they dont have a clue what real music is but i tell them the 80's was real music there is nothing like it

  • @75ely This should be labelled Herb Alpert. Its from his 1987 album "Keep your eye on me" even if Janet is the big name, and she's not even the lead singer, so it would do Lisa Keith, who also wrote songs for and sang on Janet's wonderful "Control" album.

  • this is a beautiful song. i've been looking for this for years. why can't i find it on itunes?

  • I Love this song! Beautiful! Janet fanatic here!

  • I LOVE discovering new music especially when its a love song featuring Janet!

  • i am so inlove with this song...omg! i have chills, but gud chills (big smile)...=)

  • i think i made my son off this song

  • @lowz75 lmfao!!!!

  • @lowz75

you bet lowz... unexplicably hot song!!

  • ahhh got to hear this a couple of more times:repeat

  • this is baby making music!!! hahahaha.. sooo sexy!

  • Lisa Keith Is Singing Lead On This Track. Janet Is in The Background.

  • Man

  • Herb Alpert is one fantastic trumpet player

  • dayum, never knew this was janet singing in the back round!

  • @shwaynwayn i been on this song since i was 14.... im 27 now and it is atill my favorite love song of all time..... janet 4 life,,,

  • beautiful classic, there was talk of Mariah Carey doing a possible cover, it will be cool to hear it, but the original is still king.

  • that scene looks relaxing to be there shopping sight seeing drinking and eating

  • Lisa Keith is the voice lead vocals and Janet Jackson is back. Ofcourse this song is belongs to Herb Alpert.

Lisa Keith's husband Spencer Bernard, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis & Narada Michael Walden help made CONTROL album for JJ.

  • This is actually a Herb alpert track which jam and lewis produced. janet and lisa keith did the vocals for it..it is listed incorrectly here as a janet track..it isn't. Alpert is playing the trumpet on the song. This can be fouund on Alperts 1987 album which jam and lewis produced

  • i had this song on a mix cd back in the day and when this song came on,the panties came off,it was a done deal..i love this song

  • @justroy2

    dude...you wore panties?...just kidding dawg..dont get mad.

  • I like the way you put that together.

  • the title should read Lisa Keith featuring Janet Jackson...Janet sang the BACKGROUND vocals only..Lisa sang the lead.

  • very true. i think its because Janet is a megastar. i love Janet's background vocals on this song!!! they compliment each other well

  • @david2407 This is actually credited to Herb Alpert (featuring Lisa Keith & Janet Jackson, who was signed to the label at the time) from the 1987 album: Keep Your Eye On Me. This song was produced by the dynamic duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (who produced "Diamonds" from the same album featuring vocals again by Janet).

  • @david2407 LOL! Actually this should just be Herb Alpert. Oddly enough, when he released the single in 1987, neither Keith or Jackson received vocal credit. I know, odd. The same thing happened with the song "Diamonds" which Jackson did most of the vocals on. I never did understand that.

  • @corpsvalue That's odd..I actually have the cassette single and it does mention Lisa, but not Janet.

  • @david2407 LOL! Mine only said Herb Alpert, but it was the vinyl 45. Kudos to you for buying a cassette single. That's awesome. Didn't they try to call them cassingles or something?

  • @corpsvalue LOL..I believe they did call them that. And I still have a boombox to play it on..lol. I also think it's great that Diamonds has been featured on Janet's Design Of A Decade from 1996...not sure if it's on Number Ones...I have to go back to it and check.

  • @david2407 It reads correctly. Janet was the big name...We all know Lisa Keith can sing though.

  • @david2407 Actually, it should read Herb Alpert featuring Lisa Keith and Janet Jackson. This was from Herb's album.

  • @david2407

True, but Lisa Keith was the unknown and Janet was hot then. Then Lisa Keith had an album released that went nowhere.

  • Ive always love this smooth jazzy/pop ballad, thank you.

  • Who is Lisa Keith?

  • she was a background singer for Janet in the 80s on the Control album. I think she sings gospel now.

  • i like this!

  • Lisa And Janet compliment eachother on this song. Laid back, mellow and so cool. I like the Pop R&B feel.

  • @justyce4all7 Yes so so true thats was a good combo...

  • @justyce4all7....actually it's not a POP song. You'll never hear this in a POP club.

  • this was on the waiting to exhale soundtrack or something wasnt it? sounds so familiar...mmm?maybe its the beat

  • its not on my Waiting To Exhale soundtrack. I dont recall it in the movie either.

  • hey you know what I am thinking of....Set it Off soundtrack Bone thugs and harmony sampled this on Look into my eyes...yep

  • Actually Set it off soundtrack is correct, Bone Thugs right on the money...

Look into my eyes, is off the Batman Soundtrack with Jim Carrey and Arnold....

    SL

    01

  • @Cloudt83 Oh my goodness i just figured that out too! LOL

  • @Cloudt83 Actually, the song by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony that interpolates this song is "Days Of Our Livez" from the "Set It Off" Soundtrack (1996).

  • sexy song right here

haven't heard this one before thanks for sharing brother!

    bless.

  • Very nice. Thank you.
