@tipex12 To take out our GPS you'd have to knock our satellites out of space. Also I will add that US is the only one with these GPS satellites so anyone depending on them, like you, would be just as screwed without it. Sure they all know how to read maps and compasses but that opens the door for lots of errors.

@OlderG0ds USA is not the only 1 with GPS capability, the russians have"GLONASS", the chinese have the "COMPASS system" and the european union got the "GALILEO".

@mishgun420 Yes the USA is the only one with fully functioning Global navigation satellite system. GALILEO and COMPASS are still being developed and the Russian GLONASS one doesn't cover the whole globe just Russia, therefore isn't global positioning.

Most countries use them because they are cheap or they don't have anything else. They don't use it because it's "best".

Being cost efficient is a bad thing?

M113 are still being used by US today and the up-armored M113A3 Super Gavin has the best protection record of any apc out in Iraq. It does it's job well it's not meant to go fight other vehicles just transport troops with a little defensive fire.

I don't buy that they are too cheap since I see all kinds of rich countries using them like Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Netherlands.

So which do you think is the best ever ?
