  • This reminds me a lot of my own situation.. I have been sitting on the streets like he did.. Begging and hoping for a coin to feed my and me dog his stomach. Now 5 years later i got my house and income and life is laughing to me like it should be.. And yes i always support homeless people.. Not always give them coin but if i can give them a bottle of juice or a sandwich ill deffo do it.. Bless to these people

  • This really made my heart melt, its amazing what something simple can do

  • @harrypuravida, Thank you for sharing this on my inbox, I love the video, made my heart move and tears swelled. We dont realise how much just a simple smile, word or action can change someones life. Make it a great day people regards Leanne

  • Cases vary ..... but I remember one Thanksgiving where a friend and I purchased 6 thanksgiving dinners at Zippy's ... a local restaurant. We delivered them to 6 homeless people and spent some time with each person as we handed them their meal. All were so grateful. But one man really touched my heart. He said to me ..." I appreciate this nice meal but even more I appreciate your visit with me." We had talked for maybe ten or fifteen minutes. That was the most important thing to him.

  • @nikkitytom That's great to hear, I really can't imagine not having anyone to talk to

  • So awesome Harry you seen my comment on The Power of Words, leading you to send me your version of it. God bless the homeless & those who take the time to care.

  • Wow, all your videos are awesome Harry. This video moves me =]

  • The Fact is,, When a person rejects or disses someone else,, they're Really rejecting themselves and NOT the person it's directed at! it's all about how you feel about Yourself

  • OMG!! <3

  • i like your video, you seem like a good person and wishes to make the difference in this world, i wish i could agree with you but i just don't. We must see the other side of the coin. we can't just avoid it.

  • @harrypuravida some guy picks a random homeless person on the street to share his story" that's as far as you and i know. His material could've been picked up by him in orderer to get a more emotional reaction from it's viewers. Thousands start from rock bottom, getting a job?, don't you know ppl from a natural disaster get help from the goverment? want to make me feel sorry, about ppl that catch their break and don't take advantage of it?! it won't happen. read part#2

  • @harrypuravida part#2 Just because someone is hard working, does not mean only they deserve to be happy. I say you work, you get paid. Someone is lacking off at all times and expects to live the life of someone who sacrifises so much to become who and be where they are.. i think it's unfair.. example. you work hard making your video, then someone else repostes it, and takes credit just because he wants to feel good and happy, would that be ok? he didn't work or spend the time you did.

  • Someone homeless does not get homeless from one day to another. Usually homeless ppl made many wrong choices to become what they are... like abuse drugs and have the easy life.. i don't think it's fair for hard working ppl to feel sorry about homeless ppl. because many homeless ppl are americans and have the great opportunity to become someone in the U.S, yet they don't. Compare their failure to the many out there with no benefits like immigrants and their success. Then that tells you something.

  • Love it! Thanks!

  • Thanks for this video my friend Thank you very much

  • Some homeless people are good, some are bad, I did meet people from both categories, I did spoke with a homeless old man like one year ago, he was sick and he asked me if he can use my phone to call a old friend of him, an important bussines man in Romania, he badly needed some insuline, I saw him some times after, a very good and inteligent man, the destiny was so cruel with him.. greetings from Romania !

  • Great job Thanks for sharing it to me

  • Great job. Keep it up

  • I dont care if it was shot with a camcorder. I love this.

  • To be honest, I would do this, but the homeless people I meet or not like those in the video. Usually if you give them a penny they will stalk you around town and you give them more money and they follow you more. But there was a homeless person once who was friendly and came to the cafe every day to get a cup of coffee and it felt good :D

  • I love this! Thanks for sharing this with me!

  • @CMihailC Im glad you enjoyed it =D

  • vary well put together, we see people like this all around use! i myself helped out in the Edmonton and Calgary homeless centers. good job showing us this my friend!

  • Wow, nice job. :)

  • Well done sir you inspired me to do the same thing! PLUS you got a free sandwich?! Hope that happens to me :3jk anyway you sir I salute YOU

  • harry, I really enjoyed you film. Liked the way you looked down when people came by, and then kind of shyly looked up. It is close when in the beginning. Then later you should have shown how that changes and the look is not so much shy (hunger being a large factor) as stark, and straightforeward. You don't like my situation then help me change it.

Very nice piece of film though.

  • Could happen to anyone of us, nice video well done.

  • This is amazing. I was heartbroken, but it's crazy how one thing can change someones life completely. So sweet. This had a wonderful message. Thanks for sharing! (:

  • Thank you for sharing Harry. Another eye opener. Good job.

  • Wonderful.

  • A simple gesture is all it takes.

Liked , subscribed and added to favorites.

  • @BootyFister it is someone who is evil, sadistic, and flat out crazy. PETA calls. Anyone who eats meat a psychopath and a BK mindslave, which is why no one really likes them.

  • goosebumbs

  • grate message i love it !!

  • is it evil i laughed at this?

  • HOMELESS PEOPLE ARE SICK!!!!!!!

  • @BootyFister You're sick.

  • @ThePoisonedTaco HOMELESS PEOPLE ARE ALL JUNKIES AND PSYCHOPATHS AND NEED TO BE EXTERMINATED LIKE JEWS AND OLD PEOPLE.

  • @BootyFister That right there, is proof that YOU are the phychopath.

  • @ThePoisonedTaco WHAT'S A PHYCHOPATH?

  • @BootyFister Sure.

  • @ThePoisonedTaco YOU CALLED ME A PHYCHOPATH, FAGGOT.

  • @BootyFister Yes I did, and you said homeless people are junkies and PYCHOPATHS. Fool.

  • i guess six people would just spit on homeless people. i guess some people just hate everything. thanks you for a positive message.

  • Thanks a lot for sharin this with me very good video with a positive message.

  • Great video! This is really touching. Thank you!

  • ...It's hard! There are those who need food for their families! Not to be mean but I think parents comes first for their kids!

  • Very Sad world we live in...thanks for sending

  • what can i say, just my story..but right now i am very thankful to GOD who gave me everything. Thank you for sharing the video, i am sure there is people who have beautiful heart and help the people..........!

  • A great message and a great video as well. :) Favourited.

  • Myself i do what i can to help Honestly i do ,..But its just a never ending sad situation.

  • Why do you feel sorry for a homeless person. If they are a grown up able bodied human being, there is so much to imagine of the oppertunities the guy had. Homeless people take the credit away from the people who struggle daily to get by. The ones that hide and forge makeshift homes in cars and alleys, or even dirt filthy apartments. sitting out on a sidewalk hurt the shops busniess your sitting infront off, and makes it unconfertable for the people walking buy.

  • i feell sorryfor homeless people :(

  • good stuff, i really hope this changes peoples looks to homeless

  • great job my friend i love you movie and thanks for sharing keep it up

  • How did u even find me to send me this vid lol but it was still good

  • I Love Thiss VID! it's really beautifull n..n!

  • We done. You have made a great point. My son was homeless, not by choice, and I know how they become invisible. I have started an organization to work on this very issue. The site was put up a few days ago theinvisiblepeople org

  • Beautiful... :)

  • Good job. has a striking resemblance to a youtube video called "The Power of Words".

  • @ecasequin Yeah, well I watched that video before I filmed this and it definitely gave me some inspiration for this. Don't know if u already know, but I put this as a video response for that video and it got approved and the creator favourited this video =D

  • Good job

  • yes very nice

  • apsolutely amazing!

    BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Very well filmed and touching and so true.

  • @harrypuravida: You have made another poingnat & message filled short film. Your work literally speaks for itself & about the type of person who creates such awesome work! Please keep up the work. It really is a shame that there aren't more people like you spreading these types of messages. KUDOD 2U!

  • Very nice video!

  • Its such a shame how real and true that video is and how people really do treat homeless people like that. They aren't invisible!!!! Thanks to sending me this video

  • This video can only teach you one thing, be great full to God for the gift he gave you. I thank you my friend for the message you delivered, that we received, nonetheless, we all like to give others, however, when we are rich, we don't thank God for this gift? I can't imagine how ruthless these people can be!!! They eat, drink and sleep, while others can't find a piece of bread to eat, or a drop of water to drink. Thank you for making this video, Thumbs up. and keep the good work!

  • Thank you so much for sending me this...

  • Touching to the soul

  • This is such a beautiful video.... :)

  • Nice video, good meaning, kind of wish that there we could hear what people were saying thanks for the upload, I agree one act of kindness CAN change the course of a person life, sadly a act of negativity DOSE change a persons life...

  • Great video...congratulations!

  • Awesome, thank you for sharing. I have done exactly what you show, gotten food and given it to homeless folks. I once made friends with a guy who was homeless. He was an artist with no supplies. Went to a shop and got some drawing materials and he sold pictures he drew, last I heard he was showing in a gallery and had an apartment. Others had helped him too. Was so happy to help. Though I was once attacked because I would not give another guy money to get beer. :(

  • @carnivorouszoo Wow you are truly amazing for doing that! Why would someone attack you for not getting beer money, crazy people D:

  • This was a great film, this is what I teach my daughter everyday. I will post this on my page. BE EASY, PEACE...

  • @que314 Yes! thank you so much for sharing it on your page! That really helps

  • i am speechless

  • wow thats great

  • great work. good job.

  • Great video, Great Message!

  • Very touching. I like your work.

  • I like your film, it has a great message. I used to live in Los Angeles, where homelessness is rampant. It really saddened me. I helped as I could but always felt that I could do more. There is no need for this condition! How can people with millions not make sure every homeless person they see not have shelter? The have and have not system of this world is just wrong. IMO

  • @cindymars57 It really is horrible, I can't imagine having to live on the street, lack of food, water, shelter and security. All basic human needs, its crazy!

  • Awesome. Love it. You have great ideas. DO one on bullying. That's really big and I have a soft heart for people who have been bullied. How do we stop this? It's everywhere Harry.

  • @donnamarguglio That's definitely an issue I care about, it has crossed my mind before. I will note it down in my little ideas list! thanks!

  • This made me cry. So beautiful

  • @jaydala29 Awww thank you so much

  • Love this short video! Shared it with everyone. Make more. Remind people to be compassionate. Lose judgement.

  • @donnamarguglio Thanks again for sharing! I am throwing around the idea of another video with a good message, like a girls who treat people badly because they look good but what happens when they dont have their looks anymore. But yea, Im always working hard on new ideas =]

  • Change the world... one person at a time... and with yourself... OH YEA

  • Thank you Harry for sending me a message about your video...It is so heartbreaking the amount of homeless in this world and 3/4 of the world turn their eye the other way and pretend they don't see...The smallest gesture, even a hello or God Bless or a smile can change someones life...it changes my life...thank you...and God Bless you

  • @pumpkinsmuppy Exactly what I wanted to express! If we just treated everyone with a little respect, it can go a real long way. Im glad someone changed your life =]

  • great video.. wish everyone was like that..

  • @gianboy2001 Thank you very much gianboy!

  • @XxEpIcSpUdxX Thank you very much! I definitely will keep it up!

  • I was going to say that it's a waste of time to give a person food once, when he needs food every day. But then I reminded myself that that is the problem most people have, that's why people ignore homeless people and also why people don't donate money, they want to solve it long-term immediately. You always have to start somewhere...

  • @Watchdawg Well yeah, the message here isn't to spoon feed the homeless. But just to treat them nicely like they actually matter and they can then take care of themselves because their self esteem will go up

  • @harrypuravida If you think about it, we need people on the streets because that's a demonstration that something is wrong, it's a sign that the way we run society doesn't work. It's sad though that people have to suffer for it...

  • VERY NICE

  • @flaflaflohiii Thanks!

  • This is beautiful! The truly unfortunate thing about the homeless these days are that many people impersonate them to try to "panhandle" for "easy money". It's actually become a growing trend in some areas. So, it's hard to know if your good willing is really helping someone in need, or if it is being abused by someone. And that is sad. TRULY SAD.

  • @Violet1974 I saw that on the news before. A reporter acted as a begger for a few hours and managed to get a lot of money cos he told a really sad story to everyone to show how easy it was. How unfortunate =/

  • @harrypuravida Yes, I saw it, too...and they showed others who would dress up as beggers, then at the end of the day, they'd DRIVE to their HOUSE for the evening. Some people have no shame. And it's unfortunate for the true homeless who really do need our help to get back on their feet, because it makes people leery of trusting enough to give that help.

  • @Violet1974 Truely just shameful, they must have no morals

  • There are four points. First is a woman who can afford to help people, in this video, exactly women. Second is a food, exactly first food. The third is the board with simple but impressive words. The fourth is saving money. Let me summarize, kind woman, first food, impressive words, saving money.

  • I loved it!

Specially when he became rich, and then helped the another homeless person!

He knows how it felt being like that, being poor, homeless, an outcast... I bet when he saw the kid (I think it was a kid right?) it broke his heart to remember being like that, then remembering about it he couldn't help it to help the kid :) Very well made

  • @PervertedTurtle That's exactly right! Cept it wasn't a kid lol. But yea, it was all about the cycle of good will. He knew what it was like to be in that situation and all someone needs is a bit of help or acknowledgement

  • @harrypuravida xD Oh whoever that was looked like a kid :P

That part made me cry abit xO Helping homeless guy out...

  • @PervertedTurtle Im really glad u liked it perverted turtle (nice name lol)

  • @harrypuravida xD Thanks, my friend gave meh this name

  • @harrypuravida ;P Well I am perverted

  • AWESOME

    i love it!

  • Be Warrior of the Light, and you'll never face with darkness!

  • @CliftonKaylee I definitely will! =D

  • Great video, short and sweet.

  • Thank you soo much you have no idea what this means to me!!!!! :'D

  • @animallovers30 Really? That's fantastic! I'm really glad it means a lot to you =D

  • You did a great job! Thank you for helping raise awareness about the homeless.

  • @cesgal777 Thank you very much!

  • At first it doesn't really seems sincere to me. But at the end it was a touching part. Good video! Btw,how can he be successful after 2 years?

  • @D3industry I don't know, it's not meant to be real but hopefully inspiring. It's about the message of just helping people

  • @D3industry You can be successful in one year as well :). We have a friend who was homeless and kicked out by his parents and had a brilliant business idea that he pitched and then started interning with Virgin Money and working on his business idea :). Amazing things can happen in life :)

  • Nice video. Greetings

  • Great !

  • @aksanakmal Thanks aksan! especially for liking my facebook page! that helps me a lot

  • great jobs!

  • @ahwazi74 Thanks ahwazi! I really appreciate the comment =D!

  • Thanks for doing this. Speaking as an ex-homeless person the most important thing for me was to be treated as a fellow human being - not despised, not patronised, just accepted as part of the same human family.

  • @SpiritOfTheRainbow Thank you so much for your comment! It means a lot coming from someone who has been in that situation and can really relate to my short film.

  • Really, really great message you guys are spreading. Truly inspirational:)

    Cheers,

  • @xLands10 Thank you! This video is all about the message and I'm glad I can spread it.

  • @EngMokhtar91 haha thats fine! Im always happy for people to share my work. You didn't post the link in my channel though! lol

  • @harrypuravida I've just posted it, if you can't see it though, tell me ;)

  • Really nice video. But did people find it weird when you were filiming on the street? Lol always wondered that...

  • @VantotheHoy Haha yea, at first people couldn't see the camera so they all thought I was weird for sitting in the middle of the street. Then when they saw the camera, everyone started staring at me even more. If you watch the bloopers, You might notice people staring at me in the window reflections haha

  • Very nice

  • found your vid link on wong fu production's fb wall. this is really good! keep making vids like this. your message shines through. :)

  • @dreamymiz Thank you so much for subscribing and your kind words! I will definitely be making a lot more short films that I hope will touch people. Wong Fu fans gotta stick together lol

  • Awesome short, I like the girl who played girl 1

  • Awesome! I love the sign message so clear and so true. Also people shouldn't try to see what's on it from a far they should at least wish the person the best.

And no im not a homeless nazi. :D

  • @AznSlayerCA Thank you! I mean I'm guilty of it myself, we often ignore and avoid homeless people instead of try just being nice, it is an unfortunate

  • Cool short
