How can a video describing how to properly expose and frame a shot NOT use the maximum number of pixels which youtube allows a video to use?

I have fully bought into the fallacy that pixel quantity = picture quality and therefore the entire presentation is moot.

If I can't inspect the cleanliness of the pores on your face I cannot be bothered with seeing you through the internet.
