  • Its pretty wierd they are singing in Urdu in a game set in the middle east. In addition urdu wasnt even a language during the crusades, (it was made by the Mughals around the 1500's)

  • this is sufi music, originated from traditional arabian music but evolved in the subcontinent. The older voice resembles that of sain zahoor a pakistani sufi singer, and the lady is speaking urdu which i fully understand :) great music

  • this is an indian music

  • Love this track

  • like to listen this song while recruiting army and constructing building at the campaign map

  • I want to know sometimes what they are saying in the songs can anybody translate please?

  • extracted from some hindi song :D

  • thats hindi

  • Definitely not Arabs or Turkish , what a shame of you who declares this music is an arabic or turkish music .

  • wait a sec that's an Indian singing lol what's that got to do with the Crusades ? They weren't even involved :/

  • What do you mean, "those damned crusades"? Have you bought the PC lie? Do you think the Arab or Turkish Muslims feel bad for their invasions of the Byzantine Empire, Spain, up into France, then taking Constantinople, subjugating Greece and the Balkans, trying over and over to conquer Europe, at Lepanto, Vienna? Are you waiting for an apology from the North African Muslims for centuries of piracy and slaving? Please, grow up.

  • I like the song how you find the song?

  • I got a video called 'medieval 2 music extraction', you should be able to extract the music with that from the game files.

  • its not arabic or turkish, i think it might be indian or urdu...

  • The Zither is an instrument not even used in the Middle East, so yeah. The voice shouldn't be speaking in Arabic or Turkish in the first place. I can see why it might get mistaken for a Middle Eastern tune though. =S

  • The qanún is basically the Arabic equiv of a Zither. lol

  • I asked my dad (who speaks Hindi) and he said that it sounds like she is saying that she feels compelled to Live for Nothing.

  • its in urdu/hindi

  • Im Turkish, and she/he doesnt sing in Turkish. So it gotta be Kurdish or something =/

  • At first when I played this in-game I thought it was several different short songs heh

  • Can someone please translate what the female voice sings? It sounds so beautifull...

  • Well I know Arabic, and that's not Arabic

    So there are 2 options...

    1-It's Turkish

    2-It's not a mid-eastern langauge.

  • I agree, it does!

  • do you happen to know where can i get the soundtrack? it's so relaxing :X

  • its pretty easy to get if you have the game. watch this video:

    watch?v=OkJVjo2La2Y

  • aaaah i found it, this female voice at 1:10 ... so beautifull, remembers me the beauty and grace of middle eastern womens

  • @biologie1984 heh ?

  • @biologie1984 Are you sure it isn't a little boy?
