At least they game Corinne a little more backup in this 'live' appearance on Top of the Pops. They gave her a backup singer(sic) who I never have seen since (lol), a trumpet player(holder) (sic) who I have never seen since and I think I saw Martin Jackson, the original drummer who exited stage left after 'It's Better to Travel'.

@OlymPigs2010 Andy Connell was and is the talent in this band...he was in ACR before this (as was Corinne briefly). That's when he must've honed his skills.

@gadzoox1234 - Corinne was and "Is" the "Star" and her vocals define and make SOS the success its been - whereas Andy is easily & quickly "Replacable" - he has No special talents as a keyboardist or in anything else musical! Corinne and O'Duffy were the perfect songwriting pair and Corinne's vocals and her "looks" turned SOS into an international hit!

@OlymPigs2010 I'm afraid you will have to research who actually wrote the songs..I presume (but don't actually know - unlike you seem to) all the songs were written as demos and then produced to the hilt by O'Duffy in the studio. It states that the writers were the band and they have subsequently written other albums without O'Duffy or Martin Jackson so unless Corinne is a musical genius - i oubt it

But the reverse of course is completely True - Corinne is SOS and her "image & vocals" are their success - and that is definitely not dependant on some medicore,dime-a-dozen keyboard player!

The 12" Stuff Gun Disco Mix played a lot in a nightclub (Ziig-Zaag) over here in Rio around 1987/88. Fucking awsome piano and trumpet solos and drum fills in that mix! Andy Connel is genius.
