Oh God!!! what a murder of a soulful song sung by a leagend like Geeta Dutt.I bet both she as well as the music director must be turning in their graves! Mr Jagjit Singh how could u even think of even attempting it!You spoiled the taste of mouth earlier also when you TRIED singing "Ye Nayan Dare Dare" of great hemant kumar.

@jaiminjd Geeta Dutt sang this song not M Rsfi... Jagjit Sing said that he grew up listening to these songs and wants to sing few old songs as his childhood memories. So dont ask Jagjit Singh to pack up instead...

Indeed, M Rafi saheb was great and so is Jagjit Singh. They are masters of their own vocal cords in their own way. How can you compare? M Rafi was a playback singer who sang the tunes composed by others whereas, Jagjit Singh is a full-fledged musician in all aspect of music.

I would say there is no match of both the artists. Jagjit is great in his own form so as Mohd Rafi. All I want to say is ... Jagjit has crafted this song even more soulful manner
