Well, I extended the right ROM, and I used PPF-O-MATIC succesfully. But ingame, I just see blue flames and red flames on the bridge, not the Chaos or whatever you call it. What's wrong?

As with the freezing/not freezing, it depends on where you are. If you're over by the bridge it probably won't freeze, but if you stand in front of the castle doors it eventually will freeze.

1) In Toad's Tool select expert mode (at top), then look for the behavior parameter (at bottom).

2) Because of the enormous amounts of cannonballs loaded. I'm afriad there's no paramter to tell the cannonball generator how many to generate... just don't spent that much time outside the castle.

3)Click "Edit Textures" by the Exit button in the top-right corner.

Can you provide a ROM download cuz PPF-O-MATIC doesn't work for me. Like GameBuddy2 said, it says it needs a cd image. My ROM is .z64 and wont work with it.

Well, PPF-O-MATIC is supposed to be used for patching CD images, but you really can use it for any type of file. I willl not upload a rom ever again because of legal reasons. Just open the rom in the "disk image" box and it will still work. Also, ignore the "burn image to CD" message after you patch it. :P
