My Church Got a Horrible Letter in the Mail From a atheist and they were bashing all christians so we anointed the letter and the congregation sings this song often ... and we r holding a revival this week and there is no doubt in my mind God will lead that person to us.. and he will be saved because God loves and forgives . There are no orphans of God (:

One night I couldn't go to sleep afriad of things and I prayed Lord Please If your listening please cover me with comfort and peace amen. And Right when I said amen its like a blanket fell over my entire body and I was at peace and went to bed. That told me right there God is always there for us and is always listening.. I would have loved to have seen pictures that were more inclusive ... For example, pictures of children or people of various races ... It would have been a great deal more inclusive. For God is a God unto ALL! <3

there are no strangers outcasts orphans of god? i say unto ye baloney! there are alot of us out that who have called out for we need and know we need the hand of god and guess what? it slaps us while other favored children receive blessings even if you are devout god will not listen if he looks at you like the stewart of gondor at his son faramir some of us are just not god's liking just like earthly parents have their favorites and unfavored god does too i know for i am one of them proven alot

God loves everyone and just because He doesn't answer a prayer of someone just the way they hoped doesn't mean He didn't hear them or answer them. God hears every prayer and we are God's children and there are no orphans of God. God doesn't play favorites and parents shouldn't play favorites even though they do sometimes. The first thing that has to happen is that you have to trust. Without that trust God's hand is invisible to you. So listen to the song and think again, maybe it will make sense to you.

The line in the song "so oft abandoned by our transgressions" is so very true of human beings because the one who is sinned against is always a broken soul as well and more often than not hasn't embraced grace and therefore cant show it. this song is so beautiful because the point of it is to say that though you may feel abandoned, you are not and will never be abandoned by God Himself.

3 sisters sang this in Church today. They sang it so beautiful that I started crying right in the middle of it! And that is not the first time that they have made me cry with there singing in church! Awsome and amasing girls. Anyone how has ever got the chance to meet them or there family is a very lucky person!
I just love this song because at one point im my life i felt like an orphan of God untill he showed me his mercy, thank you Jesus
