  • @PunKid1991612 You use it to conserv the bale you can call it and i believe it is called bale wrap

  • @nibizsw3 but wouldnt it make the grass moldy if there is still some moisture left?

  • @PunKid1991612 Nope but you could beleve so yes but they are using a thing i dont know what its called but here in Sweden its called myrsyra and it is like a conserving liquid

  • thats is not thick swaths, i baled 9 bales in 15 minutes and the swaths then was much thicker than this, come to norway to see thick swaths :P

  • how big is that feild and how many bales did you get from it also what was spread on there

  • Why are they wrapping them in black plastic?

  • Judging by the spaces between the bales, there is some serious grass in those rows. Top vid.

  • @Egglingen had a few damp ones weighed last week at 1250 kgs.

  • Hi, maxxum:)

Do you know how heavy one average bale is?

    *-Egglingen-*

  • @Egglingen I'd say around 700 - 800 kgs on average.

  • @maxxum1184 You must pack the shit out of em?

  • hi maxum!

  • @McKennaBoy1 06

  • @maxxum1184 Shes a Tidy Machine Maxxum

  • lovely field and nice crop dont get too maney of them!

  • hey just wondering what hourse power the tractor is to run the beast of a baler

  • @MrStayright Tractor is 170HP but 140-150HP will work it fine, it's just nice to have a bit in reserve.

  • im baling 3 years with fusion last 2 with fusion2 for a contractor we have 3 those mashines best baler in word bale could be 3/4 of the ton, tipping bale after finished wrapping you losing time cuz you have to stop twice 20 ft swath no problem u can go baling 30 ft but u have to drop down gear, sorry my english its not good im from Poland

  • Your English is very good, better than a lot of the natives on here.

  • good crop, no doubt.. ok ;) so it`s an auto function on this, thats a fancy detail, if it last of cause;) we got a orkel 1250 single baler. after my opinion a good machine, but i am not to familiar with the mchale :)

  • why don`t you tip off the bale at once the wrapping is finnished?

  • You can, but when on auto the bale goes off as the net is applied to the next bale which means no time is lost & baler is stationary as the bale hits the ground.

  • cos look at the size of the windrow!

  • The rows in the vid are only 10fts

  • Question: Why do you not rake the crop before baling? ie 3 mower swaths into 1?

  • @Jeffnz020 i know i asked pigpen the same question coz they bale his he said the balerman prefers a 10ft swath in 1st cut

  • Because you cannot get a rake to leave a swath as [square] as what the mower leaves which makes a better shaped bale. It is a heavier crop than it seems on camera, looking down on it doesn't help.

  • hi! how big is the chamber on the fusion, and does it press the bales good enaug? or is it just wery much grass in each "line" - don't know the word in english:( and are you guys happy with the fusion, got any problems etc...?

    Thinking of buing one:)

  • Chamber is 4ft x 4ft. No problems, very good baler, buy one, you won't regret it if you have the power to work it.

  • fantastic vid

  • How many times does it wrap it? I only wrap small round and square bales, and we do how ever many times it takes to cover the bale, multiply by three, then a few more, 35times round it ends up being.

  • 8 for 4 ply & 12 for 6 ply.

  • Haha really nice baler i have a guy down the road on my street with a Duetz Fhar Argotron with the same baler as you but he uses the green wrap :)

  • here in western canada we only use white plastic, works better in warmer climate, just bought a fusion 2 no problems so far did 2500 bales last week.

  • thanks for answers! okay;) here in norway we almost only use white on silage, and black on straw;)

  • nice vid! i was just wondering, seems like i`ts common to use black plastick in the uk and so on. Why don`t you lads use white? isn`t that better for the silage? less heat and so on?

  • THANKS!! black wrap is mainly used for silage. Temp would be 25C here on a very warm day. Black wrap is also slightly cheaper too. Have only ever used white once but we do use a lot of green wrap for haylege (for horses or sheep) which stays cool too.

  • We used white 2 years ago for our first cut and found that the bales sagged a lot more than the 2'nd cut which was wetter and wrapped in green and black.

None of our customers have asked for white ever.

  • Got asked to use white once to wrap straw as marker bales for a point to point.

Another advantage of the green is you can see through it........so if your wrapper man is not putting enough on it shows.

  • A wrapper man not putting on enough plastic?,Never........

  • Awesome video and quality!!!!

Do you know how many bales you make on this field?

  • CHEERS!! 132 i think.

  • Does the pick up reel need lowering or has the grass been sat along time?

  • Neither. The green line is just the damp stubble.

  • Good vid. Nice clean tractor.

  • THANKS!!

  • superb quality video what camera were you using ? fantastic combination case and fusion!

  • CHEERS!! camera is a canon fs 100

  • Were you not going to put spuds in that field this year ???

  • Erm, No..........you must be thinking of the wet one.......it's in spuds, 3 -4 acres( not our field) this field is 10 acres( not ours either :( ) we don't grow spuds any more :)

  • ul be a while bringn them bales how many was in d field

  • 3 - 3 1/2 hours brought all 132 of them in.

  • GOOD VID Good cut of silage there.

  • THANKS!!
