David has such a connection to his music, and to his audiences - the interaction, the eye contact, how he feeds off their response to him. There is such an energy to every one of his performances, even ballads. Most of all, I love how he is still touched, after 50+ shows, when the crowd knows his songs. Such a sweetheart.
