This "phone" is not for you if you only care to make calls & send SMS. This is a piece of jewel for tweakers & people who know what to make out of a powerful little machine like this. Btw, @2cleanforyou: If you had the Omnia, you wouldn't have missed it. There is an app (amongst thousands of others) that gets the phone's position by GPS & texts it to a number that you have specified. I had my iPhone stolen and my mom gave this to me for a backup and let me tell you, the texting on this phone is horrible. I hated texting. You have to press the screen so hard just to get it and most of the time it would press other buttons. Even the stick that came with it hardly ever worked. I would advise you to get an iPhone and not this one because this is the worst phone I ever had in my life. I hoped this helped.

My sister has an iphone and the iphone kicks its ass in every single way that I can think of. You have to have like little fingers to be able to type properly, I can't update this phone, it lags like a b**** and unresponsive. @Gogogot5 dude honestly, you're probably better off getting a more current samsung phone...i've never used this phone before, but seriously, it looks absolutely terrrrrrrrrrrrrrible compared to what samsung offers in its newer android and Windows Phone 7 devices. this...this looks ridiculous. i would be surprised if it even HAS 3G

plus this version of windows mobile is a long-dead OS..

it's not a bad phone, but every phone runs its course, and after four years (not including replaced phones) the touch screen will dull and you will be out of a usable phone because of its lack of a QWERTY keyboard or something of the nature

@lasamigas97 Because it does. I'm on my second one, and it needs replacing after only having it for a few months. I'm holding off on that because I can get a new phone in Feb. 2011. Otherwise, I would cash in on the warranty replacement (yup- still covered under warranty-related issues). My major beef with it is the totally unresponsive and inaccurate screen. Makes it impossible to do anything. I have to use the optical mouse to get anything done and that takes forever.

@noe23pelon If it is touch screen i recommend not getting it because these pressure touch screens lose their accuracy. If the calibrator is good on the Omnia Hd then get it. But the Omnia i900 had a bad calibrating program which wont allow me to align the screen. I tried for 2 hours straight and it still wont work so find one with a good calibrator.

1. Video quality is total ass shit.

2. Audio quality when watching videos is also ass shit.

3.Cammer is good

4. Mp3 sound is good not when you watch videos.

5. sometimes freezes.

6. Touch screen is the biggest ass raping shit hole son of bitch ever created.

7.Tocuh screen will break. I dont care if your a person that keeps things in good condition. This phone is meant to break. Clicking a spot will sometimes make you click 5mm above or below.

I have the Omnia and I was ready to destroy it after a week. After flashing it with Windows Mobile 6.5 from Modaco, it made it bearable to use. The WiFi chip is very lousy. Only works if you're near APs. And as far as browsing, get Opera and you're sorted.

im looking for a VGA device with keyboard. wifi is obvious need, prefferrably wm 6.5, if not avaible on that phone then 6.1 and 5 both are okay, wm2003se is not okay and under that. high end device with at least 500 mhz and 64MB of ram. Right now im using FSC Pocket loox 720 and im pretty happy with it, but it is so limited because of it wm2003 os. D-Pad would alse be nice. oh and i really really dont like samsungs own shit on it, id just like the windows os :D
