Things has changed and kids do not want to do band when they enter the high school level. South Hagerstown Band is about 30ish more member more then us, but numbers do not really matter in my opinion.
That is sad to hear. Back in the 90's North and South's Band were actually more of a draw than the football teams. It seems they were always battling it out at States. They both had a highly positive reputation. I was always impressed with North's guard. The were always in time with each other.
Someone needs to post some videos from back in the day of North High Group IV Champion days. circa 1991-95 would be great!
