try changing the batteries if the hum sounds lower than usual and light gets dimmer.

@R3pwnthunder If you hit something too hard with it, let's say another blade, you might get a mark or it might bend. Or both could happen simultaneously.

go on ebay and order the wesco lightsabre torches from britain or australia. those are actual size, with light and sound. they're cheap, and actual size. unfortunately they only come in anakin episode 3 and vader episode 4.

@GuruGulu Unfortunately, no. You have to use a Phillip's Head screwdriver and insert 3 Double A batteries.

If you can open it up to customize it, my guess is that a thin, reflective foil would go well around the inside of the blade. It would reflect more light, and make it look a lot brighter. Just an idea I want to try.

I wanted to get this because of the detail and spring loaded blade. If I take out the batteries will the spring loaded blade still work? Because I didn't want the noise or sound? Also is the blade red?
